My best friends and I went to a Allen Fieldhouse (I'm a huge Bama fan but live in Texas) and I can honestly say I have never heard a louder place in my life. The fans have such a great passion for their team.

This is just an awful list. Maybe you should watch a little less ESPN and actually go to arenas to research... The Dean dome hardly has any students near the court and is probably 4th or 5th in the ACC. The Carrier dome feels like an aircraft hanger.

All of those who are dogging the Fieldhouse at #1, you don't understand just for exhibition games the db meter hits 105+ along with selling out. There's not another place that would sell out or where the fans would get that loud just to play Pittsburgh State or Fort Hays State(small D-2 schools in Kansas).

Whatever record db's is, is going to be broken Feb 25th, I am confident. Assembly Hall- IU is at least top 3. The place can be deafening at times. Check out the clips from the UK game this year. Dickie V said it was the loudest building he's ever been in. Coach K said in 2005 it was the loudest place he's ever played in. Those 2 have been to a lot of buildings over the years. Allen Fieldhouse is much louder than Cameron. I read an article that Duke can't even sell out student tickets this year. Only like 500 students go to each game.
