This video is as shameful as that woman's circumstance. Abortion doesn't cause emotional/mental disorders; this woman clearly suffered from hers and I'm saddened by that, but most women who undergo the process don't. She said it herself, she was panicked. Aborting an embryo with no nervous system is not murder. If you're arguing from the fact that "it could be a baby," then why is contraception not just as immoral? Each one of those little sperm have the potential to become babies. The only roadblock I can see is when the nervous system comes around, which allows for the existence of suffering, which I find truly immoral.
That's a fallacy of logic; a sperm has the potential to become a human, but a child in the womb is a human; it is ludicrous to assume they are the same thing. Murder is not immoral because they suffer but because life is more then some object or commodity.
When do we consider it complete? Is a child complete? A teenager? Etc. This kind of sophistry is what you get when you have someone trying to justify for their own convenience the murder of an innocent life. A zygote is not what's being destroyed; this argument that abortion just takes care of a lump of cells is one of the biggest lies every propagated. The child has a brain and heartbeat around week 8, well within the first trimester.

This is common knowledge, I hope you understand this every time you get into a car. As adults we take risks all the time, some of them we can't avoid, and some of them we can. Having a baby is a risk when you have sex, if you can't handle the consequence of that risk, don't have sex.

Abortion doesn't cause emotional/mental disorders; this woman clearly suffered from hers and I'm saddened by that, but most women who undergo the process don't. She said it herself, she was panicked. Clearly, she hadn't taken enough time to truly think through the implications of what she was about to do on a personal level. I'm pro-choice, but I know I probably couldn't abort without serious introspection and resolution as to my decision.

And plus, I support aborting really early in the first trimester for the reason of being raped, incestual situations, or the woman's life being in danger. When I say I am pro-life I am wanting life for the child AND the woman but only 1% of abortions are performed for these reasons. If you are having sex you should accept the risk that you could get pregnant you need to face the consequences. You shouldn't just abort for a means of birth control! You need to have responsibility for your choices!

But the baby should have rights as well since it already has human DNA instilled within it! People use the "it's my body". But they are missing the most important factor. Before a baby develops a nervous system, and therefore can't feel pain, abortion is equivalent to contraception. Both acts are preventing a baby and potential pain from coming into a world (as those who want an abortion are likely unprepared to handle a child).

Aborting an embryo with no nervous system is not murder. If you're arguing from the fact that "it could be a baby," then why is contraception not just as immoral? Each one of those little sperm have the potential to become babies. The only roadblock I can see is when the nervous system comes around, which allows for the existence of suffering, which I find truly immoral.

That's a fallacy of logic; a sperm has the potential to become a human, but a child in the womb is a human; it is ludicrous to assume they are the same thing. It is the ending of a human life that is developing but is still human; take a look at any abortion pictures and you will see perfectly well that what is being destroyed is a human life. Murder is not immoral because they suffer but because life is more then some object or commodity.

This kind of sophistry is what you get when you have someone trying to justify for their own convenience the murder of an innocent life. A zygote is not what's being destroyed; this argument that abortion just takes care of a lump of cells is one of the biggest lies every propagated. The child has a brain and heartbeat around week 8, well within the first trimester.

Trying to say that a fetus isn't alive, treating the removal of it is like clipping a toenail is flat out wrong. Its something people try to tell themselves when they start to feel bad about killing their baby.
As I see it, (an many others) a fetus is alive, it proves this to us by showing us it is growing (a major requirement of life). Just because it can't walk and talk doesn't mean its not alive.
Many things about pregnancy is still a mystery, but we all know, abortion is murder.

You may be free to have sex, but you must be responsible for the possible consequences.
Also, you may be free to abort your child, but you have to deal with those consequences too, (mainly being the hardship and depression that usually follows after killing your own baby)

@verse1923 woman gets slowly stretched out, often permanently scarred and often with a permanently weakened bladder (childbirth can weaken the muscles), woman can't do several activities that could harm the fetus for 9 long months, and has a harder time moving for the last months of pregnancy. yeah, win-win.

@froggymicwop yes being prego is hard on a womans body, but like I said before (sex = possible baby, something we all know) if you don't like being prego, don't have sex. And if you DO have sex, you're obviously willing to take that risk. That's what grown ups do. If you want to act like a child, then you can try to have sex then complain about the result (ie, getting pregnant and having an abortion). Real responsible adults accept the consequences of their actions, children don't.

This is common knowledge, I hope you understand this every time you get into a car. As adults we take risks all the time, some of them we can't avoid, and some of them we can. Having a baby is a risk when you have sex, if you can't handle the consequence of that risk, don't have sex.

@froggymicwop You're not reading what I'm writing. The stupid action is not sex in general, it's getting pregnant when you don't want babies. And fetuses aren't parasites. A parasite reduces host fitness (evolutionarily speaking, not exercise), and reproduce at a faster rate than the host. A fetus does not do these things. And a fetus is simply a baby that has not yet been born. It is still a child, the only difference is that it is still inside the womb.
