As time has gone on, I agree all the shotguns seem to simply shine compared to the other sidearms, but one can argue shotguns will always be overpowered or underpowered because it all comes down to how effective they are at getting on shot kills, when other sidearms will need at least 2 bullets to kill.

I too believe that today's patch is somewhat affiliated with the blatant OP-ness of the 1887's.

However, i'm not getting my hopes up just yet. I have been killed by the 1887's a few times today, therego it appears that their use is still prolific and the range of the guns themselves doesn't seem to be noticeably different from any example of their use pre-patch.

We'll just have to see...I certainly hope they've been modified as IW really did screw up with them originally.

Because air support in search is hard to get, so it's a popular strat to try to get it in the care package. If nothing else, you can hold it to move faster or use it as bait. I stay away from ks rewards that take more than 9 kills in search.
