I adore this song, I really do. I listen to it like.. everyday. But it makes me kinda cringe because the soloist was so pitchy at the beginning. :( other than that, this song is perfection.

there is no best doctor. theyre all amazing brilliant actors and have all done a great job as the doctor. really how could you compare them? theyre all so different not only because of the acting but because of how the character of the doctor changes naturally over time. everyone hates the new doctor at first because theyre like "well whos this jerk then?" but once you give them a chance theyre all brilliant and great in their own way.
@SuperScotty97 that's where you're wrong. Yeah, I'm a Matt Smith hater, but Christopher Eccleston was the best Doctor, and I have been watching since him. Matt Smith is not nearly as brilliant as either of the past Doctors, and it is quite simply because he is not as good of an actor. He tries too hard and over-acts, and that is easy to see when you know what you're looking for. That's what ruined Doctor Who for me. (Oh, by the way, I'm a guy.)

I'll give the fact that Eccleston is a brilliantly talented actor but saying he is the best is like saying mccoy is the reason it got cancelled in the first place that might be an opinion but it doesn't make it fact. I am a american and went out of my way to check out the history and watch as much of the original series as possible. Matt's not my favorite doctor but i see where he tries to use from all that came before to be unique
well I finally got the song I wanted (The Doctor Forever - Variation). But now there's another one that I'm looking for. I know it's in The Christmas Invasion during part of the fight scene outside, and also in The Impossible Planet, the moment the pit opens, before the cliffhanger. If anyone knows the name of the music in these scenes or where to find it, then that's brilliant!

David Tennant is in my eyes the most impressive Doctor. He really made my heart jump, laugh and broke it into two parts. He made me laugh all the time and made me cry. I just loved his version. Really inspiring for my stories. I really do miss him. T-T

i have seen the coming and going of many a Doctor and when ten first appeared quite a few peeps hated him during his first season, i said then poeple should enjoy ten since he would be gone in no time and peeps should enjoy eleven before he to joins the Doctors back story.

Ahh, the good old 10th Doctor's awesome moments theme. I prefer Nine's and eleven's, but this one is also very cool and fits the "big cosmic epicness" 10 had about him.
I like how the viewers of this video are commenting on the goodness of the music! I've been having a bit of a debate with a kid in the 'All the strange creatures' video, and it frustrates me that there can be that much negativity towards David Tennant! Certain themes hit by Smith in his first season were not possible for Tennant to match based on the limits of his version of the character. Hope we can just appreciate what all the performers bring to the legacy of the show.

I loved David Tennant although i'm kind of glad in a way that he moved on because i thought they were making that version of the doctor getting progressively angrier and not as fun loving.
I honestly like David Tennant's Doctor much better than Matt Smith. I think he really brings out the whole "Scarred Warrior" emotions that the Doctor should have. He's the 'man' who had to kill his entire race, because they were becoming just like those they were fighting. He's not some adventure loving kid, he's a pained veteran who wants to forget the past.
@Tmanowns Sorry, but Tennant WAS an adventure-loving kid in almost all of his first season. His regeneration represented him moving on from the guilt and trauma of the Time War. And look at Smith's face as he contemplates the end of his life in The Big Bang and tell me that man is a kid.
@YaleBreaker Yeah, sort of. I don't think that the writers got a hang of it yet. Tennant's Doctor had a transformation, which is what they showed in the finale of series 4. However, he was a very grave Doctor compared to Smith's version. Part of that is the writers. I don't like the new writers that much, they focus too much on Earth.
@Tmanowns 10 episodes from Series 2, 11 episodes from Series 3, 7 episodes from Series 4, and 2 of the specials were set almost fully on Earth. 10 episodes from Series 5, yes, but that's par for the course.
I don't think she killed the Doctor as she did not have the sonic during the events at the Byzantium when it was stated she killed a man. But did have it during the events in Silence in the Library. Why would the Doctor give her his sonic and hang out with her still if she killed him once? Unlikely even for the Doctor unless there is more to it than we know. Like, say, the Doctor needed to get away so they decided to fake his death and River took the fall for it. Only thing I can think of.
@Keto26 Umm.....he saw her die, while he was alive. I thought that to at first, but then I remembered Silence in the Library. He sees her off and knows where she was going, that's why he took her to the fancy restaurant, blah, blah, blah.
to all those sepcualting about river and the man she killed..yes it was probaly the doctor from allt he hints and such and witht he plots these guys come up with altly..but your forgetting one thing..the doctor actually was there the night before she went to the libary and died...hence the doctors still alive after river..but its probaly the last doctor, the 12th (although imo its the 13th by now, as david regenerated twice techincally)
Beautiful, it's just amazing. I love David, I must admit he's my favourite. I haven't seen much with Matt Smith, because I was afraid to give him a chance after such a perfect doctor, but after watching the Christmas special, I was kind of disappointed in myself for not trusting him to pull it off. DT is still my favourite, but Matt Smith is adorable too. I want a fez! :D
I find it amusing how people always have that itching need to come up with a random comment about all who've disliked the video. I mean, I could say, "4 multicoloured scaled green creepy alienated losers from a texas high school randomly disliked this" and it would seem normal, because there have been so many comments like it before!!! I think it's wicked =)
Doctor Who is the best thing that happened to me in 2010. Great show, awesome storylines that made me cry and/or laugh, epic soundtracks, adorable actors, amazing fan-made videos on Youtube.

Why does everyone have to have a "favorite doctor"? I love all of them! Ninth was my first, so he's special, but that doesn't mean I like him better than any of the others.
God I miss David Tennant as the Doctor, I like Matt Smith but he just doesn't seem to be mature enough for the role, Tennant was brilliant, he managed to be lively and youthful while still giving off the impression that he was wise and lonely. Magnificent!

I like how the viewers of this video are commenting on the goodness of the music! I've been having a bit of a debate with a kid in the 'All the strange creatures' video, and it frustrates me that there can be that much negativity towards David Tennant! Each Doctor and actor brings a unique dimension to the show as per the aims of the writing/creative team. Certain themes hit by Smith in his first season were not possible for Tennant to match based on the limits of his version of the character. Hope we can just appreciate what all the performers bring to the legacy of the show.

I honestly like David Tennant's Doctor much better than Matt Smith. I think he really brings out the whole "Scarred Warrior" emotions that the Doctor should have. He's the 'man' who had to kill his entire race, because they were becoming just like those they were fighting. He's not some adventure loving kid, he's a pained veteran who wants to forget the past.

@Tmanowns Sorry, but Tennant WAS an adventure-loving kid in almost all of his first season. His regeneration represented him moving on from the guilt and trauma of the Time War. And look at Smith's face as he contemplates the end of his life in The Big Bang and tell me that man is a kid.

@YaleBreaker Yeah, sort of. I don't think that the writers got a hang of it yet. Tennant's Doctor had a transformation, which is what they showed in the finale of series 4. However, he was a very grave Doctor compared to Smith's version. Part of that is the writers. I don't like the new writers that much, they focus too much on Earth.

I don't think she killed the Doctor as she did not have the sonic during the events at the Byzantium when it was stated she killed a man. But did have it during the events in Silence in the Library. Why would the Doctor give her his sonic and hang out with her still if she killed him once? Unlikely even for the Doctor unless there is more to it than we know. Like, say, the Doctor needed to get away so they decided to fake his death and River took the fall for it. Only thing I can think of.

to all those sepcualting about river and the man she killed..yes it was probaly the doctor from allt he hints and such and witht he plots these guys come up with altly..but your forgetting one thing..the doctor actually was there the night before she went to the libary and died...hence the doctors still alive after river..but its probaly the last doctor, the 12th (although imo its the 13th by now, as david regenerated twice techincally)

Beautiful, it's just amazing. I love David, I must admit he's my favourite. I haven't seen much with Matt Smith, because I was afraid to give him a chance after such a perfect doctor, but after watching the Christmas special, I was kind of disappointed in myself for not trusting him to pull it off. DT is still my favourite, but Matt Smith is adorable too. I want a fez! :D

Doctor Who is the best thing that happened to me in 2010. Great show, awesome storylines that made me cry and/or laugh, epic soundtracks, adorable actors, amazing fan-made videos on Youtube.
I just love all that wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff ♥ and I've become a little bit addicted to Doctor Who :D

Series 1? Series 1 of the old or new series?;) I started with Christopher Ecclestone as the Doctor and love to watch these episodes again and again. But then came David Tennant and I've become a bit... addicted (to the show itself and the actor) :D
I'd love to watch the old episodes but I'm from Germany and i haven't found the episodes yet. Maybe I'll find them sometimes :D

God I miss David Tennant as the Doctor, I like Matt Smith but he just doesn't seem to be mature enough for the role, Tennant was brilliant, he managed to be lively and youthful while still giving off the impression that he was wise and lonely. Magnificent!
