ColecoVision looks so much better, however, what Atari did better were the animations like clouds, water, etc.. There wasn't much in the way of animated scenery in the ColecoVision version.

I like how the water has no effect on the snake. It just goes right across the water as if it were solid ground. I didn't expect this game for the 2600 to look as good as it does. I'm rather suprised.

I play this version still, all the time - maybe it's just me, but I find it {not so easy} getting on the 4th level, when there's something coming at you on every screen - not to mention when that stupid bird starts going backwards :) - the Coleco version - now, that 1 is easy, almost boring-ly easy, but still fun though ;)
