  • Thanks for sharing. One of my fellow teachers lost her 16 year old son who attended another school due to drowsy driving. I will share this information with her too besides my students. Thanks again for the information about this device

    .

  • My 16-year old sister fell asleep at the wheel and hit a semi headon. She died. I was 13-years old. I opted never to drive because I knew how easily I fell asleep in a car. This was a great decision on my part as I now have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. I don't get enough sleep as the sleep apnea wakes me up when I stop breathing in my sleep. This happens about 5 times or more an hour!!!

I save on car purchase, insurance, maintenance, gas and I may save my life or others.

    NO NAP works.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister. Thanks for sharing your tragic story. I lost my sister this summer unexpectedly but it wasn't by a car crash. So I definitely understand your pain in losing a sister. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. God Bless, Mrs. Judy Weber-Jones

  • @judywj1 Thank you. There is a small device which hangs on your ear and if your head goes into the sleep position, an alarm will sound. It can be annoying if you nod your head though, and my friend with glasses has to tape hers on. They are called NO NAP and it's worth a try.

  • I nearly fell asleep behind the wheel the other day but i had my anti sleep alarm on and it sounded so i pulled over and had a break. They are not that expensive and i got mine from NO NAP

  • Dear Safety Friend,

I was so sorry to hear about the death of your son. My thoughts and prayers are with you. That is the reason we made the video. So it doesn't happen to anyone else. A teacher at our school lost her son due to drowsy driving. He didn't attend our school but, it devastated their school and ours.

    God Bless, Judy Weber-Jones

P.S. I will definitely check out your channel. Thanks for the positive comments on the video. I will tell my students you like it.

  • Hello Again Safety Friend,

I checked out your channel and it was very well done. Thanks for helping us promote the safe driving message to everyone. We deepy appreciated you rating all 3 of our videos 5 star on your channel. Thanks together we're making a difference in saving lives. Judy Weber-Jones

  • Very good Drowsy Driving Video!

I lost my son 10 years ago due to drowsy driving!

  • Dear Safety Friend,

Thanks for the kind words about the video. We were sorry to hear about the loss of your son. We wanted to raise awareness about this driving problem. Kids don't realize that driving drowsy is just as dangerous as driving drunk. Kids tell their friend that is tired to call them when they get home. The problem is they might not get home. I will tell my students you liked the video. That will mean so much to them coming from you.
