  • Very nice. It seems larger than a regular school bus.

  • Love it !!!!!!!!

  • I can't believe that was a school bus at one time.

  • @TheHyperkid97 Is kinda hard to believe but trust me when i got her home and had to remove those seats it was well worth it.

  • I am very impressed, Hunter. Have you ever thought about making a wind charger for primitive camping? That's how my mom said her stepdad kept their old radio battery charged back during the Depression. From the looks of your bus this would be a very easy task for you.

  • @suezqcumber Thanks no never thought of that we do have a generator and a power inverter which keeps us with lots of power

  • I converted a schoolbus and couldnt get it insured as an RV because of title work when It was manfacured as a bus.. so I sold it and never got it out,, Laws may vary from state-to-state

  • Great job! I couldn't do half of what you did, you sound proud of it and rightfully so :). Glad you are enjoying the fruits of your labors!

  • Cool bus man I want to do this someday if I ever get that kind of money how much do you have In it minus the price of the bus?

  • This bus is a copy of another busconverters bus. The original is a lot nicer. But as long as your happy, everything is fine. Good luck!

  • Coaches, rigs, etc but not ever a BUS! Like a girlfriend I had with 3 kids, someone donated food to us as had a fire. They brought cup-cakes, ho-ho's, Twinkies, when the kids said they wanted Donuts, said we have none. They went to mommy she took out the above and said they are Donuts. If your Stupid then you don't learn things. I see garbage trucks all the time. Their owners call them pick up trucks, but I've seen garbage in them, does that mean all are garbage trucks? No. Nor is a RV a BUS!!!

  • Most will have to tear everything out and start over. I know my first one was built wrong and I did just that tore everything out and did it right. But the seller didn't get the price they wanted for it, only the price of an empty van. Now, where do you get this calling it a BUS? Its not for hire, doesn't have bus seats etc. If you like high insurance keep it registered as a BUS. If you want better price insurance register it as a Motor Home. The title changes too. We call them RV's motor homes

  • As a Preacher I preach and teach it may be radical to some but oh-well. I teach many classes and was a director for a school. So if you can't handle how I word things to help others, pray about it. This build looks great, but its the way it was done by putting insulation over the walls that should have had it in the walls and ceiling. Bus windows won't hold the cold or heat out period. Building a RV should always be done right the first time for when he wants to sell it, it will be very hard.

  • What was the proper insulation? Taking off the ceiling and wall metal to insulate the empty cavities? Or leaving them on and insulating over them? What is a "roof as unit" that keeps a what pretty cold? Why do you call it a "BUS" are you for hire to haul people around? Does your title read "BUS" on it? If it does, then your paying way to much for your license plates, insurance etc. When a bus is converted to a motor home, they are called motor homes not BUSes any longer less your for hire?

  • Hey, really nice job. We have one too (bluedaisyiii@blogspot.com) that we've lived in for two years with very little insulation. Somehow '"we've survived". These good old boys that think they know everything never actually live in them. The fact that you converted it, and finished it is worth the prize. Well done. So fun to personalize the whole damn thing to be what you want instead of those really ugly RV's. I hope you are having a really good time with it.

  • I've had over 289 people contact me for help and how to build a conversion the right way the first time over the wrong way. I cut no one down in my comments. True, I may come on hard but it is to attract the attention of the new person in a warning not to build it the way posted. Because they will have problems in the long run if they do it wrong. I only try to help. This complaint was the first one. They will find that 7 months was a waste of time when they have to tear everything out & fix it.

  • @RollingHomes1 I added the proper insulation i dont care about building up or outwards we only use during summer time i have a roof as unit that keeps thebus pretty cold

  • @RollingHomes1 try to imagine a person being happy just to live in a big awesome bus, park in the shade, save money and have fun. They did it right, for them, right now. If you have a way that's, more work, more comfortable in winter, great. Different budgets, different resources, different intentions. Offering helpful tips because you have expertise is more effective without arrogance and condescension. Develop your positive and constructive social skills, and you will prosper.

  • Beautifull i am from the netherlands and am going to buy a bus too and convert it to a nice living. Thank you so so much for your inspiration

  • @delacosa you are very welcome

  • you have every reason to be proud of your bus and the 7 months of hard work you did a great job...screw the negative comments...keep on keepin on

  • @chalkhill714 thank you

  • You say you did a wonderful job that may be true in your eyes, but you forgot to do it the right way. You have no insulation in the walls or ceiling because you forgot to remove all the metal from that are to insulate the cavities that have no insulation in them. This is seen by your ceiling metal is still visible and the so called thick walls where you put the foam boards to build out away from the walls. I'm just trying to help others not to make the same mistakes you have.

  • 7 Months of wasted time! You need to pull the metal from the ceiling & walls then all the old bus windows or you will freeze in the winter and be to hot in the summer. Poly foam is the best insulation nothing else. You lose weight by removing all the metal so you can build it out. bus windows are the coldest things to have over insulated windows. Learn how to build school bus conversions from our web site. do it right the first time or do it over

  • @RollingHomes1 To each there own i did a wonderful job look at comments

  • @RollingHomes1 What do you get out of putting down people and their hard work, with such a snide and condescending tone, on this and other videos? Happiness? I will tell you one thing: it does not help your business. If you really had something to offer and felt secure in it, you wouldn't have to go around telling everyone they're stupid and wasting their time.

  • @dpddpd71 thank you dpddpd

  • Hey mate please tell me where you get water supply for sink bathroom and toilet? is there a tank fitted in the bus?

  • @SnapeVEVO I went out and brought a 32 gal black water tank for waste and a 42 gal water tank i mounted it all up under the bus with bed framing that was cut and bolted. i have a 12 volt water pump that runs the water while on the road

  • @hunter72163 ahh...thank u....one last enquiry, what is the estimated length and width of your bus, cause i wished to convert one of my buses into a beach mobile camp...

  • @SnapeVEVO the length is 35 foot the width iam not sure

  • that really is nice in there, you did a good job on that there bus. :)

  • @luckymisselala Thank you it was a learning experment

  • "E"

    Good job!!!!

  • Very nice!! My wife and I are collecting components for our bus build!!

  • The narrator sounds like he should be prospecting for gold.

  • lol i was wondering why you sounded so terrible and then i saw the ashtray.

  • GREAT conversion! Congratulations!

  • Sorry about your tablecloth. My mom and grandma used to burn their nitted table cloths all the time. Very funny, brought back memories. Anyway... Very nice looking conversion. I like the layout and cabinets that were chosen. It is cool the way you didn't block out the windows. The bus looks stealth. You could park it anywhere near an arena or school or stadium in any city or small town and not get hassled from the cops because it looks like a team/band bus instead or an RV.. VERY COOL!

  • this is a real nicd conversion

  • Wow great job. Looks Like a nice place.

  • it was brought a noonans its a rust oilium

  • @hunter72163 Awesome conversion. I have a charter bus, see my channel, its an 81 TMC(MCI) MC9. It's been really slow progress. Not much accomplished.

  • Looks Nice. What kind of paint did you use? Is it sticking well and what kind of prep work did you have to do for paint?

    Thanks.

  • i think it is cool you put all those special personal touches to your work. so who are the crusaders? is this a band bus?

  • @vutEwa crusaders is just a name no band bus just a rv

  • this looks like a version of Jake Von Slatt's bus

  • @kargaroc386 it is jake von slatts bus

  • Wow thats nice!

  • @Charles2337 It was alot of fun doing and we are still adding we added a ac unit

  • @hunter72163

    Awesome =)

I'm gonna buy a bus and do the same thing you did. I just gotta save up haha.

  • @Charles2337 Keep looking on ebay we brought our bus for 2 thousand had to do alot of hard work but it pays off if you do get one and need some help knowing where things go just let me know

  • @hunter72163

What is the total cost for EVERYTHING?

  • @wiigamer136 close to 10 thousand but we paid 2 thousand for the bus

  • @hunter72163
