@MacManiaProblems What do you mean by "wont let me" -- is there an error message? Something else? Perhaps you should look into some first-hand help. A visit to the Genius Bar?
@MacManiaProblems I'm talking about the menu bar. Run Mail. Then go to the "Window" menu at the top of the screen. Then choose "Message Viewer" from that menu. That should open the primary window.
Hey it's me again, I'm having a problem, see I'm trying to send an email to favorite actor Kether Donohue, but when I finished the Email, I tried to click send, but it wouldn't for some reason it does this once and awhile plz help me.
@MsAllosaurus Does it give you an error message? What, exactly, is happening? Do you have a valid email address (something@something.something) in the "to" field? Something in the subject line?
ive got a 17month old macbook and have used mail all along with a .mac address. i logged on today and it says the password isnt working cos the connection is timed out. i think this may have something to do with my mobileme running out, but i dont use mobile me. in order to get my mail to work again i will have to pay? but i just want to use my mail, no mobile me. could u help me please?? thank you,
A .mac email address IS a MobileMe account -- at least it is one of the main features. So if you want to keep using it, you need to renew your account.
Help! So, I'm new to mac world. I just bought two imacs. Now, I also have one pc. I been using Road Runner for years, but they can't help me with this problem.
When I'm using my macs my incoming mail goes to all three computers, unless I open the pc mail first? If not, I have to start up my pc at every few days to get it off the server because it goes to all three computers. I like the fact that it goes to both macs, but running down stairs to wait for the pc to fire up is a drag! Can you help
Assuming you are using POP email -- go to Mail prefs, accounts, the account you are dealing with, and then click on advanced. Then look for the "remove email from server" option and turn it on and choose your option. Set that for weekly, or your email will show up only on the Mac that gets it first.
By .mac, do you mean MobileMe? No more .mac unless you mean a free iChat account (no email). You have to pay for MobileMe, yes. Look at that section on the Apple site.
You can use MobileMe with just a Mac, or your Mac combined with an iPhone. Check out the Apple site's info on MobileMe -- they explain what it is and what it does there.
You'd need to set it up as a POP email account. Check your hotmail settings as to how to get the POP email server information, and then use that to create a new account in Apple Mail.
I've seen some glitches like that. Sometimes I need to set a preference 2 or more times for it to take, for instance. These are probably software related, so I think we can expect fixes.
good tutorial. have you noticed any glitches on the iPhone 3G? i've noticed that sometimes the screen is upside down or the camera takes pictures upside down, but since i didn't have a regular iPhone i don't know if this is to be expected. i suppose it could've been caused by apps from the app store.
@MacManiaProblems It should.

If I set up a .mac account, will I have to pay more for it.
I mean besides paying through ADSL?
Will I also have to pay to have the .mac?

I mean MobileMe, but I don't understand how to use MobileMe, yet. I think you have to have an iphone, right?
I understand paramedic procedures more readily than computer information. : ) That's funny, but I'm also a quick learner.
What do you do first in setting up MobileMe?

What screen recorder did you use for this video?
turkeydude123 3 years ago
I use WireCast which does a lot more than just record the screen. You may just need ScreenFlow.
