? Have you read the Communist Manifesto? Das Kapital? Look, I realize you are speaking in earnest, but please learn of communism. It was conceived specifically as an antidote for religion, which communists see as an "opiate for the masses". The elimination of religion is one of the main aims of communism, which is atheistic.

Now communism is awful and atheistic, but not all atheists are awful, and neither is all expression of atheism awful. Try to see the same for christians and Christianity.

You need to read 'Engles and Marx'. Communism is the natural result of extreme atheism. The idea that man decides what is "good" and "evil" lends itself to this extreme. No one is saying that communsim has a monopoly on death. But the 20th century was a blood soaked century with the main casue being communism. So it's valid to say that atheism had a major hand in the violence of the 20th. Why is it so hard for you admit that?

Atheism is a basic belief of any version of communism that is descended from Marx's writings. The basic fact of the matter is that any state that was controlled by communism tried to push atheism, and when that has failed, has tried to control the religious beliefs of its citizens.
