  • of course, the teachers asian!* smacks self on forehead*

  • WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BIG COMMENTS I DON'T WANNA READ ALL THAT?!?!?!? (head explodes) AAAAH

  • OMG cute little goldylocks, xD, little pianist

  • omg this is soo cute....she has soo much talent..especially for a 5 yr old!!

  • wow she is really good!! and really cute!!

  • hmm... pretty hair lol

  • not asian :O

  • Oh my! That's very good for a 5 year old! :) Heck, I'm 15 and still can't even play a scale! :) Congradulations.... little girl! ^_^

  • My son is almost 3 and loves his baby piano that has five keys. He has never touched a real piano, but he actually plays tunes on his baby piano, so I was thinking of buying him a real keyboard for his birthday. He loves to draw and he seems to love music and so I thought I would try to use this oppurtunity to stimulate his mind and encourage him. Do you think this is a good idea, or should I wait until he's a bit older for a real keyboard?

Also, you're lil girl is adorable.

  • @ravyne82 I would follow his lead. My daughter has great interest in music from baby hood so we followed her lead and let her start Suzuki violin at 23 months and piano at 3. I would not do a lot of rote learning or any forced practice, but find teachers who know how to make it fun, short time span for young kids and trained to teach the young ones. I would also expose him to many musical styles through things like family concerts and Music Together or Kindermusic kind of classes.

  • @soultravelers3 thanks for the tips. Well my fiance bought him a keyboard from a music store. I haven't seen it yet. We are going to move up there this coming month to where he is and I'm not sure if he's gonna give it to him then or for his birthday in April. I told his dad about his love for his little baby keyboard and he went out and bought one, lol. He's so excited about it. Once we get settled, we will probably look around for classes and such. I will keep what you say in mind. Thks again.

  • @ravyne82 I got my proper keyboard when I was 5! Go for it!

  • @ravyne82 well do what your heart tells you to do

  • @ravyne82 i think you shoud try him playing a note but not like a real song but like touching the keyboard if u se that he loves and feels the music of the piano let him play it but dont force him because if you force him he will not enjoy the beautiful instrument

  • @ravyne82 I realize this is old and that the comment wasn't directed at me; but my personal advice for anyone is to find one of those earlier Casio keyboards. They can be found at yard sales for twenty bucks, are loaded with samples, and can run on battery power. The only reason to invest in a quality keyboard, electric or acoustic, is if you're interested in owning one for yourself; otherwise, it may not get used. Unlike other instruments, quality is not nearly as important for beginners.

  • indian classic ie carnatic is the most advanced form of music ..for anyone who can master that ..all western is very easy for them..their melody lines are far more than any western composer can ever imagine

  • OMG! SHES WHITE! :D

  • @EmoRainbowRocker I know right! It's crazy for a redneck to have any talent which is why I am also shocked by this.

  • @EmoRainbowRocker Pretty rare.

  • let her have a piano that's in tune :)

  • pretty hair!

  • Tune that piano. :)

  • keep up the good work.....you are wonderful and extremely talented...I started taking lessons at five yrs old and didnt stop until a senior in highschool.....;)

  • I like how she gets so frustrated when she plays the wrong notes, but she keeps going! Woohoo, go her!

  • i think that piano has an accent .. get it? xD haha nice though

  • the piano is out of tune, but still...nicely played. :)

  • She plays better at 5 years old then I play at 40.

  • She is so cute. Keep practicing and I'm sure you will become an excellent pianist.

  • I like it. Just Mozart was Mozart and if this girl follows this, she'd be like him or better. I'm not saying anymore, I'm saying the truth. Good video. Luck. =)

  • Makes me think a bit of Stephanie Tanner off Fullhouse. She adorable, and how wonderful that your family encourages her musical development!!

  • SHE IS SOOO CUTE!!!! her hair looks like ramen noodles!!!yum! she is great!!!

  • awwe, she's cute!

good for her, she did great!

normally 5 year olds dont have the patience to learn something like that.

  • What many people don't realize is that you don't have to be a prodigy to be a great musician. This girl is going to be great if she keeps practicing, but she'll have trouble avoiding automatic labels. If someone especially pretentious or ignorant hears of her talent, and they vocalize disappointment that she can't play perfectly (she's 5 years old, for heaven's sake!) she will have a hard time getting over it. I'm not trying to say she's weak, but that she'll have labels from her peers soon.

  • if she can sing, she's the next Taylor Swift

  • @TheSandyReis Lol...Yup.

  • @TheSandyReis Yea

  • Its not really a solo...Its just a recital

  • Its not really a solo...Its just a recital

  • @TheGuineaPigExpert11 SO what if she's five? Does that make a difference?

  • awesome, i wish i started with music at that age, she plays really well

  • This isn't Mozart

  • @HerrWarja her nick name is mozart.

  • @The Cadman1234 mozart is a composer and he wrote that piece

  • Now THIS is what a 5 yo should be playing. Not those difficult pieces that they don't even understand as those Asians do to their children.

That was cute. 100 Stars for the little star!

  • @PianoTHIS You cant say that Asians do the pieces without understanding them just because this girl did an easy one comparing to Asians. I believe it is hard to do any piece without understanding it especially the difficult ones. Any way, I like the girl hair <3

  • i know she likes music and she can hear it well because when she hit a wrong chord, she shook her head and re did that part. :)

  • @dancinchicaxo Yup. I started playing piano very early, and apparently thats what the music teacher worked out with me, that I instinctively understood a bad chord and how to find a 'good' chord at about 6 years old. The teacher said "That kids going to be a musician", and he was right. You can see it here, its only the begining, but the kids a naturual.

  • I'm glad not every 5 year old is posiening their minds with modern warfare 2.

    Fantastic little girl nice performance

  • she's soooo cute <3

  • she's soooo cute <3

  • she's soooo cute <3

  • she's soooo cute <3

  • Que bonitoo!!

  • WOW !!

  • I think a childs greatest capacity is to be nurtured and to be loved and believed in. I personally believe that the miracle is in parents who understand this and that the expression plays beautifully through the child.

  • lol i can play the piano!!!!!!!! i was proud of myself but when i was five i was stuck with mary had a little lamb lol

  • You're going to be a great player some day. Keep up the good work.

  • her name is mozart, or is that a nickname of her's because she plays piano??

  • It's just her online nickname because we all picked our heroes for names when we started our open ended world tour in 2006 & she loves music & plays both piano and violin.

  • sweet

  • she's good!

    xD

  • well i can't do that and i'm almost 20

  • what a lovely girl!

  • Her name is Mozart? That's new.

  • She looks just like Stephanie on Fullhouse

  • Sweet.

  • I hope this little girl reliizes how amazing her parents are

  • She looks like she is having fun....that is of prime importance at the age of 5.

  • is her name mozart?

  • Look at those gorgeous golden locks!

  • hey has the talent

    I wish she continues playing

    great

  • how cute and awesome at the same time

  • i wish i wouldve started playing guitar when i was this young...if i did i would have so much experience at guitar by this time...it sucks that i never really even payed attention to the guitar parts in any song and i never thoaght about playing guitar. Only after i took drum lessons and starded playing rock i realized how cool it would be to play guitar and make such cool sound with ur hands. now i dont play drums and i lvoe to play guitar

  • nyaa~ so cute! and she doesn't seems to have a stage fright... i had a majure one, and i still have one... but because of all the making me go on stage and play piano, sing, dance and act i got used to stage a bit and now i just can't live without it... i've spent a year without going on stage and now i need it so desperately that i've quit my dream to become and illustrator and started a new one: to become a bassis or a keyboarder, so i could perform for people... i just love that ^^

  • this little girl reminds me my childhood :) she z so lovely

  • that sounds a bit stodgey if u get wot i meen but exellent for a 5 year old!!

  • TheSoccerWizzard your stupid or what?? she have only 5 years old dude... think about this 2 times

  • She certainly looks like a Barbie Doll! Such an attractive face!

  • I hope she doesent waste her gifts like i have done by not going to learn it from teacher. :)

Give my regards to her! Good luck with music :)

    sry my storytelling lol

  • Hey :)

I started piano when i was at 7-8 or something. My teacher was old, nice lady, but in the end she had to stop teaching piano for me and some other girl due her kids had so many hobbies and they were taking most of her time.

After that my father started teaching me piano, but that ended pretty short. (i'm not sure why by the way...)

Now I have played piano just for fun, i dont even read notes. im just playing what sounds good :) I use my "sound ear" or whatever its called in english.

  • she has beautiful hair :D!

  • Shes such a cute girl ^^

  • EPIC!!

  • its good but not perfect

  • So true, we do not go for perfect in our family as I don't think there is any such thing on this earth. We go for excellence and at 5, we go for learning that is fun above all! ;) We prefer learning about music and not just playing one piece over & over by rote to do a performance. We always follow our child's lead as well. ;)

  • well said soultravelers- it's a good way to teach and encourage kids- the mindset strict that some strict parents impose on kids to be perfect and 'within a box' can cripple creative kids who have undiscovered talents on other things.

  • @soultravelers3 That has to be the best explanation I have ever heard. I play instruments because I WANT to, not because I need an "A" or because it might be the way I make money in the future.

  • @soultravelers3

It is great to see your comment about not striving for perfection. Of course it is amazing to see child prodigies play pieces perfectly, but it is equally amazing to see children express their creativity in their own way. People often think that to be regarded unique or talented you have to be brilliant at one particular thing. But it is more important for us to strive to be amazing people and your daughter is definitely that. She has a great spirit and makes others happy :) xx

  • @soultravelers3 very well said, good answer.

  • she is only 5

  • what, you expect a 5 year old to play this perfectly, do you? lmao!

she played it and enjoyed it. and im sure she still actually has a life!

    great job :D

  • give her a brek shes 5!!!!!!

  • @TheSoccerWizard she s 5. I can imagine her when she's 15. She'll be a legend by 20! My props go out to the parents for exposing her to the finer things in life. Hopefully she enjoys it and doesnt see it as something extra to please you both. Really talented 5 year old. Continue to nurture her talent and their might be a future in music for her.

  • @TheSoccerWizard No one is technically but can seem that way without having the magnifying glass over us..but what did you do that was outstanding at 5 ..chuck tator tots across the table.

  • @TheSoccerWizard

what kind of asshole are you shes 5. its not like the title is perfect piano solo..idk whats wrong with people

  • @TheSoccerWizard

what kind of douchebag says that...its not like the title is perfect piano solo...idk whats wrong with people

  • @TheSoccerWizard shes 5 i think its great

  • @TheSoccerWizard ofc its not perfect she is 5

  • @TheSoccerWizard Good but not perfect, eh? Great. Just DANDY! Is that what your going to tell your children at an early age when they acheive something like this? "It's good, but needs work!" She's what, 5? And you're what, an asshole? Come on, man! Put your head on your shoulders and smile. A 5 year old little girl knows more than you. :)

  • @TheSoccerWizard christ sake she was five what do u expect bet you couldnt have done better at her age

  • @TheSoccerWizard Who said it was supposed to be perfect?

  • People are ignorant not understanding the fact that Mozart is a nickname. She has the cutest curls and I've watched many of these videos, she's wonderful.:D

  • Thanks so much missbunnyhop24 for your supportive and wise words! Yes, Mozart is just a nickname & it certainly does not mean that she is the next Mozart, just a child who loves music and is quite good at it.

She certainly is not a prodigy, but VERY few 5 year olds play this well ( let alone 2 instruments well for her age) as very few people even start ANY instrument at 5. Most piano teachers will not even take a 5 year old as most are not ready to learn music then.

  • oooooooooo

  • why doesn't it show her real name?

  • xstars2bex- we live a very public life so that we may share our open ended world trip with others, so we use nicknames for safety for our daughter. It is all explained on our website and is common to protect children.

  • oh ok thanks.

  • she is so cute she has got the prettiest curlies

  • If I had not read that Mozart was a boy, I would have believed that was a film take from1761!

  • Her name is Mozart?

  • Yes, it is just an online nickname because she likes music.

  • Yes, it is just an online nickname because she loves music and he is a hero of hers. Actually, other people gave her the nickname when she was 5 months old & stood on her own and clapped in time to music.

  • How's her rhythm clapping now? Let's see a video of her doing some rhythm clapping (even if from a method book)... Good luck and have fun! She's great!

  • ummmm is her name mozart??? coz she keeps getting called mozart...

  • Yes that is her nickname online.

  • nice one :P

  • she is sooooooooooooo cute!! i love here

  • she's so cute and talented! she's got a great ear. if she does become famous, you better not let all that celebrity crap get into her head.

  • om my wow! O_O im amazed shes so talented!

  • excellent work!

  • The funny thing is, she plays better piano than I do, and I'm a 20-year-old electronic musician. :D

At 5, I'm just as impressed at how clearly she speaks.

Honestly, the world needs more parents like you. It's wonderful to see this.

  • Woow... you have a great child... i think that everyone would love her to be a great composer... but that's her decision... Great child do!!!

  • you must feel so blest to have such a beautiful, talented and intelligent little girl

  • aww.. so cute =)

  • shes good!

  • 5☆5☆5☆5☆5☆tars from: Smi-ren-ger!

  • omg when i was 5 i played almost the same song in the libary (they had a keyboard on piana sound with a headphone)

  • I like it that you guys don't reveal her name.

It's safer for her that way.

Plus titling her Mozart is just so appropriate.

    :J

  • awesome she played in my city!!! XD

  • That girl has great talent, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was a very famous composer as the years roll on. Looking forward to her greatness!

  • i started playing violin and piano when i was 5... fun times. i used to play violin in a classical orchestra, now i play jazz piano.

  • wow.... she is very good ^^

  • i dont think her real name is mozart, notice at the beginning of the video he is about to say her name, but it is then skipped over. they probably do not want to give out her name. but, she is a very adorable little girl and very talented! :)

  • i dont think her real name is mozart, notice at the beginning of the video she is about to say her name, but then it is skipped over. they probably dont want to give out her name. but, she is so adorable and very talenteddd :)

  • they cut out the part where she says her name, so im pretty sure mozart isnt her real name, just her name on youtube.

  • I wish I had that privilege when I was young. She will go far in music.

  • see now this is better than the violin video because we can now hear what she is playing... pretty talented.... she looks a lil like the middle child in full house, stephanie tanner... haha

  • i agree i like hearing what she plays more than just seeing her play and not really hearing what she is playing.

  • Aww she is so cute...i love the hair!!! wish mine was naturally like that.. hahaha

  • Oh god I can't believe I'm saying this but

"Lol the high G is a little flat"

    -ignore that please-

She'll make an awesome musician next time, I'm sure of it. (Btw is her name Mozart??? If it is it's a great name)

  • is her real name mozart?

  • she's really becoming a little mozart :D

    she's awesome and very cute

    greets from belgium

  • a little angel of music =]

  • shes's cool. with parents who care

  • Wow, better then I can do, and I took a piano class. Lol.

She reminds me of Glinda from the musical Wicked, with the golden curly hair and the cute pink skirt. <3

  • Cool! How old is she now?

    -----Maddie-----

  • I think she will become a fine musician as she gets older.
