Well first off all...I've never heard of any one in the Clash called "Diamond" anything.

The majority of people when you mention "the clash" they have no clue who you

are referring to. Almost every one knows Van Halen and "Diamond Dave." Diamond

Dave is one of the leading front men of all times. Yeah..he liked to do his drugs and

drink..had his share of stupid performances..but overall he really is a genius. Very

Clash on the other hand maybe wrote the best lyrics ever and they made good music not affraid to experiment...
