  • 00:56 Fusoya: Cast Meteor now!

    Zemus: Die trying

    Tellah: ー_ー''

  • there not all at 9999hp <_<

  • why is this not on PSN ( Crys )

  • does reflect work on big bang if not whats the easiest way to beat him

  • What fucking names are this?

Edge is fucking Tidus?Ah c'mon,Tidus really?

And what the fuck is J?You smoked shit?

  • *all my guys have 1-100 hp* CMON USE CURAJA PLZ HURRY! *ZEROMUS used BIGBANG*

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • your names are aweful.

  • It looks like Zeromus has a boner...

  • did they upgrade the graphics for ff 4?

  • Why power yourself up at the beginning? He removes your buffs when he shakes around and uses black hole to nullify them in the actual battle.

  • why you didn't use some spider silk against Zeromus? I Think you have an average level of 57 and is good to see that you didn't use black spells on Zeromus, because he will counter with Flare

  • I'd like to fucking read the dialogues thanks

  • @GSM22 What this man said, christ.

  • Is this the final boss of IV?

  • @nickfrosttotoro no it's sephiroth.

  • @nickfrosttotoro Yes, but there is an extra dungeon called Lunar Ruins in the GBA and PSP versions.

  • lol for me i kept rydia dead since she died so much. her only use was that damn bahumut. and i said to myself "all thoses phoenix down are not woth an extra 5k dmg or so.

  • Wow they made Zeromus' death animation a lot shorter in this one lol.

Also this looks really good. :)

  • isnt ff 4 on the ds with better quality?

  • @AssasinsBounty The DS version is 3D, but the 3D is really shitty. And that version is basically just a more complicated version of the original SNES. The GBA version introduces Lunar Ruins, and the DS version doesn't have it. It instead has stupid crap with Whyt. It's really terrible. I think they didn't make the PSP release like the DS one because they realized how much of a mistake it was.

  • @InMooseWeTrust Actually, if the 3D in FF4DS didn't look like Harvest Moon 64, with chibi-like character models which made Rydia look like she was auditioning for the "Little Miss Sunshine" pageant, and more resembled FF7, FF10, or even 'Crisis Core,' then the 3D would have been awesome. There's nothing inherently wrong with it. Also, making the game more complicated, and changing the boss strategies was a smart move for the DS version. Made things fresh. U want to play the same gameoverandover?

  • @Fudgaboutit A complicated RPG takes away from a lot of the fun and enjoyment in a game. It's like the materia system in FF8, or the various jobs systems where you spend all your time leveling up various jobs instead of actually enjoying the game. The Calculator job in FFT is especially notorious for this. FF4DS followed the same bandwagon with so many gimmicks that really weren't necessary. FF4 is a great story the way it is already.

  • @InMooseWeTrust Whyt is only an optional addition to that release, and most never invested alot of effort into it. It also had voice acting, added a little bit more backstory to some characters. These are merely nitpicks, but can't be taken as a minus. It also has two super bosses, and an augment system. The game is still enjoyable. The only significant flaws I could point out is the lack of the GBA port's new content, and a slower flow in battle, which speeds up as you play the game.

  • @InMooseWeTrust I have no idea what this has to do with anything I said. I don't know what you're going on about. It's like you're replying to a totally different statement. What I said has nothing to do with you reply.

  • Kane and Edge look awsome in this game

  • Those spell animations are way too long. Black Hole should be 1 second, not TEN!

  • that is one sick fireaga spell

  • Wow, the spell effects in this version are quite awesome.

  • holy crap must have this game. go make mother buy me used psp. muuust obey squaaaare....

  • Whats the name of the theme when everyone cheer up cecil

  • @devilangel266 Be more specific.

  • Next time dont skip the epic dialogues from that end

  • I look forward to see a FFV remake on the same engine as this.

  • @TopZack We wish.

  • i love the 3d effects ^^

  • FUCK THIS SHIT! FUCK ... THIS ... SHIIIIIT!!! This could have been the ultimate version of the game with the best dialogue, but it's not, because they choose this watered-down shit over something that WORKS GREAT!! I didn't get excited in the exhilarating final battle sequence of FF4 Advance, and the even suckier FF4DS (because of the terrible voice acting, and the bad remake of the final battle song) because of those two points of dialogue! I'm instantly pissed when I see it!

  • @Fudgaboutit umadbro?

  • @lakulo27 lol

  • Oh jesus fucking christ! They also fucked up another point in the dialogue that is always screwed up in later versions!! Cecil says, "Zeromus, for all life, and for all who

ve given their life, I will not lose!" Doesn't that pump you up?! But no, he says something much more simplistic, and retarded-sounding in comparison, "DER! I WON'T LOSE! I CAN'T LOSE!" THEY COULD HAVE TWEAKED THOSE LINES TO MATCH THE ORIGINAL LIKE THEY CHERRY-PICKED FROM THE DS VERSION!

  • How is using an additional two sentences that describes what he's saying in more mundane detail better?! It sounds so fucking retarded, and anime-like!! Only fucking IDIOTS need the dumber secondary translation! It's probably based on the Japanese text, though; only the U.S. localization improved on it. And why did they take off Zeromus's face in the new HD sprite?! I hate this shit! Argh!

  • God ... DAMMIT!!! He still says, "YOU CHOSE DA DARK PATH! YOU CANNOT USE DA CRYSTAL! BECAUSE YOU ARE DARK ... AND THE CRYSTAL IS LIGHT ... AND SINCE YOU'RE DARK, YOU CAN'T USE ITTT! DERRRP!" I HATE that shit! I love the line from the SNES and PS1 versions, "The crystal is eclipsed in the hands of darkness." I fucking HATE that RETARDED new dialogue that has to spell everything out to the anime-obsessed fucktards of today. That said EVERYTHING you needed to understand, and did it poetically.

  • ... Seroiusly, Why does Playstation get all the good stuff? This game does better justice to the story then DS. Not saying FF4DS wasn't bad, but if it was like this I would have died from the Awesomeness...

  • man, i hope they do ff6 like this before a 3d one comes out

  • This collection is awesome. I could care less about the prelude and after years but shit... this is the DEFINITIVE edition of FFIV

  • what are your levels?

  • Ds version is very hard

  • @anonfalcon it is, i thought it was just me O.O

  • I was here for the Dialogue , but .... -.-"

  • I finished this game yesterday...

It was epic, at the middle of the battle only Cecil and Rosa survived, it was really difficult to kill Zeromus only with two party members...

(sorry, my english skills aren't so good....)

  • GBA version = Best portable version ever!!!

  • excuse me but... how can you upload this type of videos because..... IT'S F*CKING AMAIZING!!!!

  • What weapon are you using with Cecil? Can you get his ultimate weapon before the final boss?

  • @Systice4 nope, his ultimate weapon is the lightbringer and you must pass cecil's trial to get it,you can access the lunar ruins by beating the game at least one time

  • where can i find suma shuriken?

  • ugh, figures...i dont kno HOW the fuck squenix did it, but the music in the PSPS remake is worse than in the original SNES version,....nowhere near as epic....WTF? ill take the original any day over these cash cow remakes......with its superior 16-bit music and awesome chibi characters!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Don't underestimate this battle. If the party is above 55 level, you have good chances of Zeromus kicking your ass (as he did with mine...)

  • now i wish when i got this game from a local gamestop...i bought the psp and not the gba version

  • whirl and then big bang? that is a mean combo. easier my ass.

  • @ihusmal1234 Whirl was a counter to Holy. His natural attack at the begining of the battle is Big Bang. So BB following Whirl isn't so much a combo as its more shooting yourself in the foot.

  • Zeromus: "Oh shit! I'm almost dead! Spam Meteor tiem!"

  • @TheFighterdoken I agree, but then I disagree. I love the whole battle system graphics and all, but the cut scenes in the ds version was good too.

  • @Blizzaray i liked the cutscenes too but i still like the psp version better.

  • does anyone know where to find these PSP sprites??? Can't find them anywhere :S

  • Oh no. You changed their names!

  • this version had a limited inventory .. the

DS version kick ass with both full 3D and Voice actors ~~♪

  • i love how he named that spoony bard coward

  • whats the music that plays on map before you engage boss 0:00-0:02

  • @Tacticsniper1819 its the same music that plays inside the giant of babil .. and its called giant dungeon or something

  • FTW .FFIV so awesome!!!!!

  • Not to be Mean but Worst names Ever and you To away Rydias Dignity *Sniffle* Jk But why Do pepale Change theyre names i find that odd Just my Opinion

  • @ArtizFox Yeah, that kinda suck to see people with different names, but the one thing I can't stand is when people capitalize every other word for no real reason. :/

  • you know how everyone complains that the female Final Fantasy characters are useless? apparently they haven't seen Rydia. or Yuna. or Lightning. or....you know, i don't even know how they got that in their heads....

  • Should i get Kingdom hearts: birth by sleep or this game?

  • damn i hated when zeromus died. half an hour to die xD

fortunately i played on an emulator, so i just speed that up.

  • Man, I was expecting Twin Meteor being more epic. But no, it's same thing as the normal Meteor spell

  • You said it comes with the ability to switch characters and stuff. Does it have the DS's ability to get other party member abilities when they leave? Like when Edward goes in the DS version, you can get his bardsong ability to pass on?

  • Could you Squere Enix make this same thing with Chrono Trigger PLEEEEEEEEASE!!!!

  • Love the magic effects a 10/10 from me =)

  • so after i bet this after the credits it said something was unlocked for the characters, where do i find all that

  • Anyone know the name of the song that plays at 4:10 ?

  • @DarknessTheHedgefox The song has been called by several titles: "The Crystal Theme", "Final Fantasy", "Opening Theme" and "Prologue". It is one of the series' frequently recurring themes, with it appearing (in some form or another) in almost every main game in the series (besides II and X, which oddly did not feature this song). XII in particular is notable, as this song plays at the main menu's load menu. With more "recent" titles like VII or VIII, the song is played only in the credits.

  • @ZACKFAIR1205 Ahh i see thanks

  • Already finished FFIV Advance, is this Complete Collection worth buying?

  • Not trying to sound stupid here, but I constantly noticed that the party member's HP was constantly decreasing. Was that because of the Party-wide cast Bio by Zeromus? Or is that because of something that has to do with the battle?

  • Aww man why can't i do this? :(

  • hmmm. ive played through the original but was contemplating getting this for after years..... is it worth it?? is after years any good?

  • @PearlJamm Imho, it's not really worth getting unless you've never played FFIV before or if you really love it. The interlude is worthless, and The After Years is possibly the laziest game Square has ever made.

  • @MegaUltraJMan I don't know, if anybody who likes FFIV should get the after years. I mean if you are a FFIV finatic, wouldn't you wanna know what's going on in the sequel? I played the after years and I think it's great considering FFIV is one my favorite games in my childhood and I would love to see more games like this.

  • @MegaUltraJMan Uh ... the Interlude is not worthless at all. It connects the original story with the sequel. The sequel as also really good. If you were an actual FFIV fan you'd probably like it.

  • Please keep scrolling text faster than we can read. It makes the game more interesting if we don't know what's going on.

  • @grumblekin Dialogue is the exact same as the GBA version, you aren't missing anything good trust me.

  • @MegaUltraJMan What Emulator of that game you have???? Please tell me i want to play sequel of it too. :-)

  • @grumblekin Just pause the video.

  • Arrrrgh, the music is AWFUL! None of the richness of the SNES version!

  • Spells in this version are amazing. And the big bang is ridiculous in this version XD

  • Does this version have the bonus content that came with the GBA and DS versions? Like being able to switch any of the 5 with yang, cid, palom, porom, or edward? Or the superbosses in the DS version or the bonus dungeon in the GBA version?

  • @TapeofScotch it comes with a interlude which shows what happens between ff4 and ff4 after years

and it comes with the piece of crap sequel after years

  • @TapeofScotch It comes with all the stuff from the GBA version, bonus bosses included. The After Years comes with.... well everything it initially came with, and a single new boss called Lost Babil that's... somewhat unimpressive.

  • @MegaUltraJMan It also comes with the Final Fantasy Interlude, which wasn't available on any other platform, including the Wiiware version. The DS stuff is largely left out though, including the cheap polygon graphics, and good riddance to that - I always considered this version to be the ugly stepchild of the FFIV remakes.

  • @TapeofScotch the DS superbosses arent included, but they include the superbosses from FFV (Omega and SHinryu) and they are as hard as always

  • I really appreciate the way the left the game alone. They just improved the graphics. Fucking awesome totally excited to go out and buy this :).

  • can you switch out characters like in the gameboy advance version? and did they re-add the bonus dungeon in the moon?

  • @UltraPenguinx3 Yes to both.

  • @MegaUltraJMan YES :D! i hated how you couldnt do any of that on the ds version xD!

  • @MegaUltraJMan did they add any new features like on teh DS version like rosa's dualcast or is it exactly the same as the GBA version but better graphics?

  • Loving the high quality 2D graphics in this version!

  • Anyone Know will they do a final fantasy 6 For PSP?

  • @Freyboy100 try dissiddia 12 duodecim, it's better

  • @Megapog1 i lol'd

    dissidia is retarded

  • @Freyboy100 Who knows. I think though it probably will happen. There was also rumors of a possible 3DS remake.

  • @Freyboy100 that would be awesome

  • and I thought that it would be a 3D remake!

It's better! It reminds me SNES!

  • Best Meteo I've ever seen...and I've seen a lot of Meteos....

  • it would help on video quality if you stoped jumping texts

  • Please can someone or more give me your opinion, is it better to play the ds version or the psp version; I've never played FF4 in my life and I want to have the best experience possible from this amazing FF game.

  • @3dgar2oh if you want challenge and better cutscenes get the DS version; if you want pretty spells/graphics and more overall content get the PSP version, either way you can't do wrong it's FFIV!

  • @3dgar2oh I would strongly recommend getting the PSP version. The graphics are much better in my opinion and it keeps the best that FFIV has to offer, including the original SNES storyline, the improved translation and bonus dungeons of the Advance Version, and Final Fantasy IV: Interlude, and After Years, which are two sequels to this game, and awesome games in their own right. All the DS version really has are the polygonal graphics, cutscenes, and augment abilities, which aren't in PSP.

  • @3dgar2oh thanks for the info

  • WOW those spells look amazing

  • Text too fast :(

  • Hey what? at 6:19 says "fuma shuriken" in the throw menu

but the rigth way to write isn't "fuuma shuriken"?

  • From RPG Maker 2000 to RPG Maker VX

  • Im really impressed with the special effects in this, they look great and contrast well with the sprites. Looking to add this to my FF PSP collection this Tuesday to accompany FF 1 and 2 anniversary edition :D

  • I am genuinely impressed with the special effects in this game, it looks much better graphically than the PSP remakes of FF 1 and 2. Thats not to say 1 and 2 on PSP were bad, I adore both of em :P

  • can you name the characters?

  • @bveress yes

  • @RagnakiMezaMageXX

how, it doesn't show when you first meet the characters?

  • @bveress There's a rabbit in each town named Namingway that allows you to name your characters.

  • ...i like hoy Fusoya turns into a puddle.

  • 12:08 i LOL at Meteor missing everyone except the one is very low on HP

  • Ah, this brings back memories of playing Final Fantasy games in the good ol' days. I remember fondly what it was like to have a boss repeatedly kill one of my characters immediately after reviving them.

  • Zeromus was for me the hardest boss i have seen in the history of the final fantasy, chaos, emperor, cloud of darkness, neo exdeath, kefka, sephiroth one winged angel, these boss, i haven't got problem fighting them, but zeromus took me a long time to kill him!

    zeromus EG too!

  • Nice. I'm glad they put this on PSP. I think I'd rather have high-resolution sprites than dated looking 3-D graphics.

Let's hope they do the same for V!

  • look so much like pokemon, the music too! XP

OR its pokemon that is like final fantasy 4cc...don't know witch one came first...

  • You should make a video of all the summons in this game!

And yes fighterdoken, this game rapes the shit outa the DS

  • ummm....where would be a great pleace to train your characters?!

  • @Enzo0Lazaro I'm sure you got the answer by now, but I used the top floor of this dungeon to do it. If you're not here yet use Bahamut's cave which is slightly west and a bit south of the final dungeon if I'm not mistaken.

  • @MegaUltraJMan

outside a dungeon in the underworld, south westish, use a siren, it will attract a green dragon and give you 30-40 thousand exp

  • @bveress Good method, at least if you have a lot of sirens to spare.

  • @MegaUltraJMan

you buy them on the moon where all the moogle's are

  • @MegaUltraJMan

and it's the cave where "spoiler alert" the demon wall was, and were golbez came back

  • @bveress Where do you get sirens? Im at the moon and I NEED level grinding my team is Kain Lv 48 Cecil Lv47 Rosa Lv 47 Rydia Lv45 and Edge 44

  • @josh58561 you steal them from a certain robots while inside that giant robot thingy. D: if u missed them thats that. but you can farm them in the bonus dungeon, theres a place in the dungeon that looks the same and has the same monsters and you can steal the sirens from them :3 the hard part is finding it.

    hope this helps xD

  • @josh58561

on the moon, there will be a cave with moogles, one will sell you sirens, i'm not sure on psp but it was like that on ds

  • this pwns the ds version!

  • wait this is already in english?

  • @StevenJKpower Yeah. They released the game in Japan, but had an option for English text, which only raises the question as to why they didn't set the default Text to English and ship it out to the US+UK+Other English Dominant countries.

  • Can you tell me the level of your characters please??

  • @carmineSaint Between 57-60, you can probably do it just as easily around level 55 you'd just need more caution around Big Bang and maybe swap your party a bit to have more HP.

  • The graphics in this game look delicious. I'm so glad I didn't get the DS version.

  • Well even on the DS version I still had a defended Big Bang still do 4000+ damage (6000 without defending.) But my level 55 DS party didn't even have 4000 HP.

  • damn!mine stuck at the ending..well at least i still got to see someone ending~

  • is it possible to change the music used, i saw somewhere that you could. If so see for Zeromus EG, if thats at the bottom of the lunar ruins this time, can u have the orginal music on? i prefer that theme for zeromus over the ds arrangement, it has better pace.

  • @PrimalJordan Yeah, I'm at Zeromus EG with the original music on now. Might do a vid on him.

  • Comment removed

  • this is on psp right?

  • awesome :3

  • How does A GIANT EXPLODING FIREBALL FROM OUTER SPACE miss?!

  • I think I like the DS version a little bit more. Not the game itself, I'm sure they play just the same, this one possibly being better. But the tiny part of me that is a graphics whore loves to see Cecil and Kain in 3D and with voiceover. I also like the way the dialouge is presented in that one.

  • do the after years pl0x?

  • @G3t0nmylvl I'll be playing through The After Years sometime soon, maybe next week or so.

  • i might have to get a psp and this game. might.

  • @HyperMoeMan If you get a PSP you can get FF VII, VIII, IX, and tactics on the Playstation network for 10 bucks each. Do it....

  • I don't really like Cecil's Sprite, it looks too much like a warrior. Its probably the hair

  • Compared to the party sprites, Zeromus really does look smaller than in previous installments. He should be maybe 20% taller...

  • Why does it look like Rydia is naked when she is dead?

  • Wow, the new 2D graphics actually look really nice. I'm tempted to play FFIV again now.

  • At least Big Bang is easily survivable on the DS version I had it do 4000+ so a level 55 party with FULL HP still couldn't survive it I had them die instantly even when under Shell status.
