If this was an assignment in advertising i hope you got a failing grade. And im not saying that to be a jerk. I can understand you dont have the tools to make amazing effects. But you're in school for this and you should know that your pacing was very slow and very uncommercial like.

@joltmasta Fair point - it's not the most professional video. However, the class was really about teaching us to manage the creation process, and was graded on initial concept, storyboarding, budgeting, and the actual production aspects such as editing and sound weren't as important. We got an A though!

Id love to make a video like yours but I dont have a good camera or the video editing software and know how talent like you guys. I know Dave Chappell did a GTA type video on his show kinda like this. Another cool concept would be Fallout 3 taking a city and then imagining it post nuclear war.

That's the whole point Joemamma69000, the ad was made to promote the Virtual Console for the Wii, which lets you download and play the old games like Super Mario World.

I used Pinnacle Studio 10 to edit, which was pretty good although lacking in SFX, which were added later using chromakeys created in Photoshop and Flash.

It probably looks well-edited because the music matches up to the cuts, I mixed the music myself with Adobe Audition, hence the fluidity.
