  • since the habitat is about the same as a water dragon, (only no pools of water) i might get one and keep it with my CWD. with further research of course

  • @johnnyrebel96 The humidity needed for a CWD is way to high for a Frilled.

  • @Joshua010287 whats the humidity for a frilled? like 60? (for papua new guinea) and that will work for a water dragon, but ive gotten rid of the idea, im goin with dart frogs now.

  • @johnnyrebel96 I always thought CWD was supposed to be around 80% humidity...Frilled's are around 60%...Anything above 75% is real bad for there respiratory...Dart frogs will be an expensive snack for your CWD...Unless your mean solely darts. If so there awesome and I would highly recommend them, there a pain in the ass though. get an automated mister and save yourself some stress. Nice videos btw.

  • @Joshua010287 thankyou, and im bad about keeping my humidity up for my water dragon, but hes doin fine, also i know not to keep darts with dragons, im setting up some tanks right now.

  • @Joshua010287 also nice cage, i thought about getting a chameleon once

  • Aww, what a sweetheart! He's so gentle!

  • That's no were fully grown they get almost 4 feet

  • @VersusModeADR this one in the video is deffinatly not full grown, but they dont always get 4 ft. i had one that maxed out at 2 ft.

  • awesome

  • Hey there.. i love the Frilled Dragons and i really would like to get one... how hard are they to keep and how much time will it take before you hand take it out and sit with it?

  • What a nice lizard I love frilled dragons. Is he fully grown?

  • @TmoE39er no, this one's not. full grown for frilled dragons is 2 - 4 ft

  • How often do you have to clean out the tank when you have a lizard?

  • @IKilledMisa depends on what kind of lizard u have. for frilled dragons, like every 1 - 3 months

  • Ahh man i saw one of those at this exotic pet store an those suckers get HUGE haha there soo awesome though xP

  • just wonderin m8 is that a fully grown one or not an how old id he/she??

  • THE Australian frilled lizards are only way to go they get bigger look much cooler i wouldnt bother with the other frilled even thos theirs cheap to buy go big or go home AND WATCH OUT FOR THE THEIR SPIT OF VENOM HAHA :P

  • 'Feed me more bitch I'm lazy' LOL

  • OMG!! ITS DILOPHOSAURUS FROM JURASSC PARK!

  • How cute! We got ours when it was about 3 months old. Jusst put a video up about him if you want to see. He's about a year and a half now.

  • i like the way he drinks

  • cool vid thunmg up !!!

  • where can you get them at??

  • @Likewhoa37000 They're decently hard to find. We looked online for a while, and it's expensive as hell especially if you want an Australian one since they have different coloring. We found a couple babies at a reptile store. It cost us $175 for him and the UVB bulb is $80 when we need a new one. They don't eat just crickets either, their main diet is mostly dubai cockroaches and those are 25 cents a piece and that's if they have the right size. We got some hornworms recently and he liked those.

  • @bloodangel4ever36 Wow thats ALOT! but their so precious looking!! (:

  • you should make a new one this is awesome!

  • how much did he cost ?

  • @tafenau24 they range from like 200$ to like 2000$.....depending on if its an australian or new guinea

  • i want one of these where can i get one?

  • cool beans ! awesome looking thing. my bearded dragon puffed his beard at it out of jealousy. gotta go to the petstore and buy him a hornworm to apologize.

  • Do these have weird necks or do they really just stare up at the sky all the time?

  • @Skullomaniaaaa haha they really do stare at the sky all day long..theyre funny to watch.

  • i've always wanted one. are the hard to care for?

  • is this a good domestic pet? and what size tank/cage do u recommend keeping it in?

  • Comment removed

  • well Australia sucks so fuck you lol jk jk

  • @MetalScreamer802 omg ur soooo funny

  • their bites don't hurt.. do they?

  • Super cute. All the ones I've seen in captivity have been sweethearts.

  • In Australia you have to have a certificate from the Commonwealth National Parks and Wildlife Service for every native fauna sold here, that way poaching for the Australian domestic black market does not happen .

No such checks takes place OS as a result the poaching in Aust goes to feed the huge demand in mostly the US and Europe. and for all u know that lizards ancestors just 2 generations ago could have been poached because there are no checks there

  • I work for the National Parks in North Queensland where theses lizards are native

we don't call them dragons anywhere is Australia either in the pet trade here or zoos.

And i do know what im talking about

Also since the exportation of Ausrtalian natives fauna and flora OS is banned by the Commonwealth then that lizards ancestors were poached from the wild .

By buying that lizard you are adding to the ilegal pet trade. All trade in Australian fauna OS must stop or the poaching won't stop

  • @HonestBloke most of these now are captive breed. not illegal at all.

  • A nice argument except one big gap. Conveniently ignore the fact that most of these reptiles have now been captive bred in the U.S. and Europe so long we have created dozens of color morphs and sub breeds of them which do not exist in nature. This fellow was born in captivity, making him domestic. And trading in captive bred domestic animals isn't illegal.

Why don't you do something about that lovely cane toad problem of yours instead of harassing pet owners on the internet.

  • @reanimatedfish And trading in captive bred Australian fauna without a certificate from the Aust national parks and wildlife service no matter where it is in the eyes of Australian and international law is illegle just read up on it.

And untill some checks and balances takes place OS all trade in Australian native fauna MUST stop or the poaching wont stop.

And thats no argument its just a fact

  • Once again, our reptiles are primarily captive bred now, except for the occasional scum who thinks its cool to buy wild animals. Asking people to stop the sale and trade of animals which have been captive bred in the U.S. for about a dozen generations of their genealogy is flat out ridiculous.

The only animals which were ever illegal were their oldest forebears. Their descendants are not. An Australian ought to know a lot about that sort of thing.

  • @HonestBloke

And also, while I'm on the subject of what a hypocrite you are, how about all those ferrets you folks illegally import?

I'd also be keen to know how you feel about the half billion American dollars worth of Borneo's rain forest Australia illegally buys every year. Kind of funny, unlike our captive breeding programs, Australia's illegal imports have financed the extinction of about a hundred different species of animals.

  • @HonestBloke I have been captive breeding these for a while. This is America so piss off.

  • Spade is right in Australia they are called Frilled neck lizards Chlamydosaurus Kingii from the dragon family Agamide but they are not called dragons.

Id say it just a marketing ploy by sellers to gee up the name so it sounds better in the US. but in Australia they are called frilled lizards only.

So before u tell folks that they dont know jack shit id do my homework mate

  • but then again ... when did I ever not want them?

  • ive seen them livin wit beardies ... so i want a couple!

  • Love people who take care of their animals as if they were human.

  • how much did u spend on it like the tank/terr flooring and stuff?

  • Very nice frilled and set up :)

  • i like your choice in music :).

    makes me miss my frilly.

  • dude where did you buy him man there cool

  • wht your frilled lizards name is he nice

  • how old is he??? what do u usual feed him ,.and what would you recommend more Argentine B&W tegu or a frilled?

  • I would get the Tegu(I like much bigger animals)

  • @1992pattrow these guys grow to about 80-90 cm

  • ya so? I have seen adult Frilled Dragons before but yoiu compare the 90cm to 4 feet and there is a huge difference.

  • @1992pattrow not really 4 ft is about 90 cm, besides, i have 2 tegus (argentine black and white) and their about the same size as my two frillies

  • I don't really know metric well so sorry about that. I love Argentine B/W Tegus! They just rock. I am more of a Monitor person but I would still get a Tegu. I don't know about a frilled though.

  • @1992pattrow oh kk, i'm actually looking into getting a monitor:p

  • you should, they are awesome.

  • let him borrow ur garrage or someting............bad?

  • i hav lots of roaches in my apartment maybe i shub bring him some haha lol!

  • sounds like you just need to do more cleaning.

  • he awsome!!were can you get one?How much are they?cutie. :)

  • dude that guys cute as hell, you got a bigger viv ready for when he reaches hes full length?

  • how big to they get?

  • they can get to a good 3-4 foot, the minimum size for a frillie adult would be 4 foot high by 3 foot wide, but i think thats still pretty cruel, you would have to more likely dedicate a good full floor to ceiling viv thats about 5 foot wide.

still a 10 gallon tank will be fine for hatchling frillies.

  • thats the australian frill neck. the papua new guinian ones are like 20inchs, not that much, so i guess it depends on how much space you have!

  • I have a frillrd lizard too and you need to give up the crickets in the terrarium, not to spoil the clami. Certainly, that nice

  • feed it to the spider!!

  • Twat

  • 2:08... "Wait is that kosher?"

  • hey just a thought. do they like wine gums?

  • lol hes like fed me biotch or i killl you

  • haha wow didnt need to ark up. get a bit into it hahahaha. maybe in "america" thats what you call it. like no one calls it that here. JUST SAYING SO CHILL OUT

  • those lizards are the friendliest things on earth. ive had one. i want another one.

  • lol its actually called a frilled lizard.. not frilled dragon? i live in australia and have never heard them been called that

  • Ever heard it called Chlamydosaurus kingii, I did not think so.

Just because you are from Australia does not mean you know jack shit about what lives in your country. Go back to school and pay attention when the teacher mentions that Frilled lizards are also called Frilled dragons.

    Dumbass

  • Wow dude take it easy. He wasn't being an ass to you, he asked a simple question...

  • @Sandman3188 actually, its a differenc in our languages, in australia, its called a frilled neck lizard whereas in other areas its called frilled dragon. neither one of you is right, nor wrong. and yea i know ur comment is 1 year old but i still thought i say this anyway :p

  • @Sandman3188 How big to they Get am thinking about getting one. Mind as well have another Reptile from Australia.

  • @Sandman3188 Well there was no need to attack him.

  • @Sandman3188 :0 im australian too and they are frilled neck lizards in australia. buti think iv heard of it but aussies dont call them dragons

  • bad to the bone my ASS!!!!!!! more like Precious little PUMPKIN!!! so CUTE!

  • LoL I glad to see someone spoiled their pets now I don't feel so odd when I do it! Your Frilled Dragon is adorable I love how it flutter his or her frills! Is it Australlian or from India?

  • its from austrailia and i think it only does the frill thing when its scared

  • haha the cricket ditched his leg at 2:09

  • lol

  • ooooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • is that a bearded dragon and a frill neck or is it just a frill neck

  • called a frilled dragon not anything to do with a bearded dragon

  • nice frilled dragon

  • he looks heathy but you should not feed it by hand or of tongs or they get lazy like my beaded dragon is so that is what i would do looks cool

  • how old is it

  • Hey, where did you buy your Frilled Dragon? I can't seem to find them anywhere. If you don't mind could you also tell how much one of them cost? P.s. your Frilled Dragons look happy. :) - Thank You

  • Xgone- normally at pet shops that carry reptiles and around 160$ or higher (size, healt, color, ect all have to do with price) if you cant find one at a local shop then see if theres a reptile convention in town and they normally have them lol.

  • omg i love him!

  • I love your frilled dragon

  • did you ever have trouble getting yours to eat when he was really younge

  • will they drink from a water dish or do you have to mist?

  • i used to have one it was a lot bigger than yours though but yours looks a lot like mine

  • i hope mine is like that

  • Very awesome video. Your frilled neck lizard looks very happy and healthy.

  • very nice

  • lol the bug fell of the tweasers o.o

  • How big of a cage would an adult need?

Thanks and WOW! What an awesome lizard!!

  • is he or she fully grown?

  • No, it is only 16" long. An adult can get up to 36" long.

  • Quality,im lookin to get a partner for mine and get into breeding.mine is also really good when it comes to drinkin from a bottle,he'll chase it til he gets a drink.

  • mine is nothing like that he freaks when i try to hold him.
