The US wants China to raise the yuan, but the Chinese have 1.41 TRILLION in US treasuries, and they're losing 600 million per quarter over the depreciating dollar! So if the yuan is raised, why in the world should the Chinese hold US treasuries versus euro- or other denominated bonds??
