  • is this considered to be a strength training workout?

  • my upper body is soooo weak, this one was a toughy for me, but hey i got though it! =)

  • How do I substitute the lefts off the chair, cause I tried to do it like she said and the chair popped over and hit me in the head. Also how do I substitute push ups, cause if I get down in the floor I will never be able to get up by myself?

  • Listen to the cues in the video. You can do pushups on a wall, on the floor, etc. or any other stable surface.

  • When do you see results? No one ever answers that! I just want to know how long it takes until you see a nice body :)

  • Doing a few of Coach Nichole's workout daily will definitely have you seeing results. I haven't lost weight nor waist sizes in years, and I'm a soccer player!

    Now, just doing her workouts, I'm losing weight and feeling better about myself. :)

  • It depends on the person and what condition your body was in to begin with. Your age and sex influence how quickly you see results as well. When I started working out, I went from living a very sedentary lifestyle to working out several times a week. The first month I didn't see much of a change only a few inches went down, but I think I was losing fat and gaining muscle because all of a sudden somewhere in the middle of month two weight started pouring off of me. For me it was 45-60 days :)

  • nobody answers because it depends on how bad you look :P but in 2 weeks you start looking better :)

  • I've been doing the Sparkpeople cardio exercises everyday, and then all 7 of the bootcamp workouts every other day. I've been doing this for a little over a week. I really gotta push myself because I'm in really bad shape and have pretty bad stamina xD But I've already lost some weight (I've also been eating healthier) and I've definitely noticed my abs getting more toned from some of their exercises and the next day my arms will be sore, or my legs will be (in a good way!) So keep trying(:

  • Yes It is As well as build muscles.

  • I do all seven days, everyday &it feels great.

    I don't even wake up sore, and its helped tone my body a lot.

    My advice, keep doing it and gradually build up your intensity.

    I haven't actually lost weight, but I look healthier.

  • great work out, each day is a easy move up. I have a painful time doing push ups on my own so I just threw my ball in to use.

    That is the great thing about this boot camp you can change it up as you need.

    I also don't have weights so I use canned food.

    4 more days to go!

  • here is a tip:

    a 1 liter of water bottle is = 1 kilo dumbell!

    i use 1 liter in exchange of dumbells!!

    i like the idea of canned food!

  • If you don't have ay weights, a couple of cans from canned foods work. They may not be as heavey but it's better then nothing.

    Just make sure the two cans you use weigh the same.

  • you can use soup cans,water bottles...or just close your hands make a fist and just do what she does but with no weights you will still get a workout out of it

  • Take bottles and fill them with sand/water

  • I don't know if anyone replied to you but I was taught to use canned food. So that is what I do.

  • love it, second week is going great!

    for some it's difficult and others not so much, that is why it's adaptable you can use 3lb or 8lb where ever your range falls.. and can repeat or not depending on time and other factors.

    a lot of the challenge is not always in the work out itself but the point is to become a more active person by taking the time to complete the short vid every day!

    for added effect i will do 1-7 every day 7 :D

    and will keep doing these after may!

  • hmm i have a really weak upper body and i had to do these moves twice just to feel this

  • Good exercise anyone can do, modify if you arent' there yet for a couple moves, but just do it!!
