that is NEARLY one of my cats..except, he drops dry food in his water dish to flavour his water..he stirs it and takes a sip, drops another piece in and takes a sip..and stirs..and takes a sip..until it's just right flavour..then he drinks..

Thats what my cat does, he also drinks from the faucet.....my other cat thinks he is a dog, he eats their bones, smacks them, drinks their water, and more..

They act like this because it's easier to wash their paws when it's wet ... my cat does the same when he wants to clean her paws.
