i have really bad problems with this.

i use a psp go and when i go on it its laggy as hell, and it only works if i turn ps3 on and click remote play. when its off, and i click it it kept getting stuck saying acquiring ip adress, and when its there it said loading and you can click the xmb or what ever, then it says error, press the xmb button to go back to psp menu.

I don't think you can play PSP games on PS3, no.

Only certain Playstation Network games will work like that. For instance you could download a PSOne or an original PSN game and transfer it to PSP, but not PS3 boxed games. I'm still hoping that Playstation Network will get PS2 games, but the longer they go without it the less likely it seems that it'll happen.

If I set it up to communicate via the internet and not a local network, can I lets say sit in an internet cafe, remotely turn on my ps3 thru the internet and stream videos to my psp from the ps3's harddrive?

No disc based games you buy at a store will work as far as I know (Except Lair and few others). I mean like the game titles you download from the playstation store. I believe some of those work. I also know all the PS1 games you download will work as well.

yeah i looked it up and it said that you need to turn on the b and g network to your router and i have no clue how to do that so i talked to a guy that works with router computers and anything electronic and i asked him what a b and g network is and he just said another type of signal for your router and i told him that when i try and connect my psp to the router it does't work so he said that if your router is older then 2-3 years then you should update it

Do you know how far away u can be from ur ps3 and still turn on ur ps2 with the psp? u said if ur at a bus stop and there is interweb. how would that work with ur ps3 that is at home and no where near u?

Ok, you can turn on your ps3 from anywhere if connecting through online. You can only connect from probably 20 feet or something if you do it locally using the ps3's connection.
