I just got back from dentist, and the only pain for a second was the needle going into my bottom gum. The ddentist said the anaesthetic was lydocaine. 2 fillings later, I will need 1 more filling. By law they arnt allowed to fully do both sides with anaesthetic.

I got 5 cavities filled without any pain medication and it never hurt. The pain of getting them filled is all in your head. It does hurt but only a little bit. The reason it never hurt was probably because I was drugged up on medication from my doctor haha.

Cavities hurt before you get the drilled. Once they compleate the procedure, you should have little after pain, but other then that its a relif. What hurs the most is the drill.

one of the extractions is a front tooth. I got that worked on when i was younger because i cracked that tooth, so its fianlly failing, they will remove it and put an implant in.

I had a really tiny cavity in the back of my mouth. It wasnt my fault I brush normally but there was tissue over my teeth and so you cant brush it so sugar and stuff gets stuck up there. I didnt need novacaine which was lucky. It took like 20 minutes.

I had 24 cavities, so you should be happy that you only had 6. I had to go every week to get them filled. It's not that fun, but it's not that bad, either. You just have to ask for the gas so you don't feel anything. Believe me, I know. I've had cavities since I was about 7 or 8. Now I know to take care of my teeth!

The "drying" part she is curing your filling material because when she put your filling in it is kind of like puddy material but when she cures it , it makes it hard like your tooth!!! i am a dental assistant i place fillings:)

Alright well what they were doing was setting the composite filling. The material will not harden by itself so we have to light cure it for 30 seconds. The light is blue so we have an orange shield to protect our eyes because the light is very bright. After it is light cured it is are hard as it's going to get unlike amalgam which takes 24 hours to completely harden.

you know if ur really anxious about going to the dentist..you can see a sedation dentist..even for cavities..so if you have alot you can get them fixed all at once and you get put totally out and then you wake up and its all done:D..more expensive but deff worth it..if you hate the dentist like myself lol
