dhalsims so good because he can pretty much zone any character in the game. his drills can help to evade projectiles as well as attack an opponent. watch professional dhalsim players use him and you'll see what they tend to do during the majority of the match and learn from it. other then that, just practice until you feel comfortable with using him

Practice and understanding. thats how you use him. You have to play the Zoning game with him. His limbs can keep opponnents honesty but dragon punches and Flash Kicks can hit his limbs.

Well yeah, if that's the case, then I take most of it back. The 360 controller is nothing but a pile of ass for fighting games.

Since I don't have the excess funds to get the new arcade stick coming out, I'll have to settle for one of the newer SF pads when it comes out (around the time SFIV comes out as well). Problem is...will it be better than the old meh-tastic 15th anniversary pads of yesteryear...?

I don't think so. The Fighting Pads looks good but if its not a sega saturn S-type im not messing with it lol! I wait till my friend buys one the ill pass judgement and let you know.I Brought a New hori stick over the summer and its holding up pretty good. I still haven't use it for street fighter yet could you believe? Im to lazy to take it out because i keep it in the box.I mainly use it for VF5 I look at it like im giving my opponent a edge lol!

Actually the 15th Anniversary Saturn-ish pad that came out back in yesteryear kinda sucked. A bit much so that the design was improved upon of sorts, and now it doesn't matter (too much) whether you get the NEWER fight pad or the hori stick (but dammit, I do not like the arcade sticks with the square gates)

Am I the only one who uses the 360 controller? I mean it does have it's faults with it's uppercut and jumping but I use it and it works fine. The arcade stick is kinda weird. and bombermangold, don't say it's a pile of crap, Diago uses it and he's considered the best Street fighter player out there :)

I use it because i be to lazy to unpack my Hori. Its not he that but sometimes i falter with shotos on pad. I like to use Guile on pad.

It was....alright. The Dhalsim player must've been on drugs or something, cause the first 2 rounds he was playing like he was half-asleep or something.

Barely caught onto the Ryu player by the 3rd and 4th round, but in the end still lost.

Dhalsim is typically a harder match for Ryu in general, if the Dhalsim guy was any more competent, it would be a LOT harder for Ryu to retaliate properly.

Trust me i know whatyou saying but i was using a pad and i did'mt take into account the new changes. The match was would've been over but i missed my crucial cross up combo @ after i made him bait with the slide.I missed to many opportunities period. Not forgetting Bomberman this is not a 1st time match. We was already playing for a minute so i basically nullified his Short slide into throw cheeze a little(You seen him get thrown trying to attemp this @2:07.).
