My opinion, goodfellas is the greatest film of all time. Every aspect of it is perfect. Liottas acting is in the top 3 performances of all time, and Scorsese direction is incredible. Casino is also great. I love its editing. On to Godfather. Don't know, it's a great revenge story, but it's based tightly on a book, which contains the plot. The direction is a little bland, also, and that's what makes it feel long. However, Godfather IS a classic, and should be regarded as one.

This film has one of my favorite montages of all time. When "Can't you Hear Me Knockin" by the stones plays and Nicky is jacking people's houses for the Jewellery Store. I can honestly say i think Casino is better than Goodfellas. I think the plotline is a bit superior. But Goodfellas is still a great movie.

I saw ''The Departed'' 3 days ago and i learned that Martin Scorsese never dissaopints the audience to date like other directors who start making good movies and later on start to deteriorate and dissappoint, but Martin does all his films passionately that's why he's still among the best directors.

Only Sharon Stone got anything out this movie. She got nominated by the oscars for best actress and won best actress for Golden Globes. For some reason it didn't get nominated for anythingelse like best picture, director, actor, supporting actor, or anything else. Martin Scorsese, Robert Dinerio, and Joe Pesci should've gotten something out of this movie.

Well I really mean lesser known, and in my opinion, I couldn't place it in the ranks of Raging Bull or GoodFellas, but it's still great epic storytelling.

Sort of like watching a mad crazy soap opera all at once, but with an amazing trio of performances, and directed by one of the best filmmakers America's had to offer.

IMHO - it's not only the best De Niro performance ever. It may be one of the very best in all American cinema - period. (Though I think most prefer him in Taxi Driver, but this one's my pick.)
