My friends and I have been singing it the past few days all the time.......... even when I am not singing out loud the song keeps humming inside my head.
I am a Eclectic Pagan, and I study other beliefs, I am curious about this faith/religon. All I know about it is that it's based on a balance of good and evil, and they worship a goddess named Anahita, Persian influenced/origin, I think there might be other deities involved, but it would be better to hear from somebody from this relgion than read about it. So, I would like to know if you can give me details about this relgion. Is it like a Persian Pagan religon? Mono or Polytheistic?
we do not pray to a goddess named Anahita. She is one of the daughters of the prophet. Zoroaster. We are monotheistic. Came much before the big three religions. to an extent u can call it pagan...
we worship the 5 elements. water, fire, air, earth, ether.
budgiebudgielover I call myself because I have 2 budgies and they are very .... loveable. That sentence made no sense. But, now I have a guinea pig so it should be budgiebudgieguineapiglover
The lyrics of this song is based on Gatha - just as Zoroaster, with his hands uplifted, praying and singing the hymns. For instance, see Gatha 28-5, wherein Zoroaster is asking Ahura Mazda (Asha) 'when shall I see Thee, when shall I attain the transcendent state of Good Mind with the pure deep insight of Truth.' The last verse describes the motto all Zoroastrians are required to follow - the Zoroastrian Principle of Life.
Nice vid. I'm just curious about the Persian parsi community in India. do they still speak Persian, and what form of Persian, like Middle-Persian or?

the three religions you are talking about must be Christianity, Judaism, and Islam right?
I heard something about her being the prophets daughter.
The same with us - we worship the 5 elements!
