You actually believe Ron Paul tells his campaigners to go hassle people for money? He doesn't even care whether or not people donate. He only cares about representing the American people and fighting for their rights. What the hell does he need your donation money for? Some people saw a cash cow following Paul around and so they've decided to milk it. Donations are a half-assed method of supporting his campaign anyway. If you want to help, make more people aware of his existence and his ideals.

I'm sorry but I am sick of hearing people say this is not different or not as bad as regular flu. In my whole life I have never personally known so many people so sick at one time as I have this year. Nor have I or anyone in my family ever had a illness like this. I think it is a big deal and will get bigger.

Regular flu affects many more people and kills many more people than swine flue, as do a number of other diseases. You just don't hear about it in the news and there's no hysteria because it has happened many times before.

Please tell me where I can go other than the CDC or other gov't entity to verify that info. Actually, never mind I wouldn't believe it anyway. Personal experience means more to me than supposed figures that can be fudged. As I said I have never personally known so many people in any given year to have flu like I have this year. Today news report that they are using a drastic procedure to treat H1N1 never used before for reg. flu. Doesn't sound same to me. Global warming data is well refuted or misinterpreted. Unemployment data is very accurate, but they have a funny meaning for unemployment. Same goes for economic data, but it is also misinterpreted, usually intensionally.

I agree with Ron Paul's positions, but I hate his political machine. I gave him some money when he ran for president, and now his people keep spamming my phone, email, and mailbox with requests for donations. I've asked them so many times to take me off their lists, even writing to Ron Paul's local and congressional offices, but the bullying continues. I've learned my lesson - no money to any politician, period. Ron Paul is just like the rest, with his hand constantly out.
