  • Ok, I am new to all this but I do want to mirror my iPad. I have an iPad 1. In order to use these softwares you mentioned Display-Out and Resupported4 I would have to jailbreak my iPad correct? Or is there another way around that?

  • @soniayayo Yes, in order to use this method you would need to be jailbroken. The only other option is to buy Apple's official video out cable which is very expensive and only lets you do video out from within certain applications, whereas this method lets you do video out for any application.

  • Out of my expection!I win a iphone4!Do not beg for sharing, just click! wEee accuc.info

  • damm i need a hdmi cable cost $7 cuz $50 for the apple cable its madness

  • Is there a free alternative?

  • I downloaded everything needed and browsed through the app settings, but this does not work for me. I have a 4th generation iPod and I realized I can't tamper with the default tv out put settings on it's video settings. I did some research and according to my findings, apple blocked it on purpose in to use their apple product av cables, which contain chips, in order for us to view it on television. Is this true or could I be doing something wrong??

  • @iphonenlogr. Where can I buy some then, other than apple or EBay. Do they sell this in Best Buy????!

  • I thought u don't need cables If u have resupported 4.0? (Please Reply)

  • @Captin187 Of course you need cables, Resupported4 just lets you use 3rd party cables instead of the official Apple cable.

  • @kylevandegrift Resupported4 is the only app I know of to enable 3rd party cables, definitely worth the cost!

  • Ok so I got a question about resupported4 is this the only app through Cydia that has the power to unblock unsupported cables?? Cause I tried to download it and it say there is a 10 day free trial of re4 and it still can't verify the license and I was wondering if there is any other way

    Any help??

  • those are the same cables I got, but from amazon. They don't stay connected, its always like "external display disconnected." :(

  • Nope it doesn't work with 1st generation, I tried it

  • does this work with the ipod touch 1st gen?

  • would this method work with games too? i know it would display the games, but would the mirroring be quick/smooth/responsive enough to play the game on my tv screen without problems or display issues? thanks in advance!

  • It's not working on my iPod 4gen ios4.3.3 what to do?!?? It comes in an out then it's gone then pops back on then off again !?! I'm lost I try all cracked app will it work if I just buy it form cydia !?! HEPL PLZ THANK YOU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • @bedstuygi1 Buy the application. We do not support piracy. If you buy the application(the way it was intended) it will work just fine.

  • Do you think it will work with iPod touch 2nd gen

  • @gtorres1719 Yes, this should work with an iPod Touch 2G no problem!

  • how do u do this on a laptop or computer?

  • tight video!! showed me and told me everything i wanted to see and hear about this. Also short sweet and to the point. Great!!!!

  • When I do this it only displays my iPod screen for a sec or two then shuts off and says that the cable doesn't support my iPod, anyone know what I can do to fix this?

  • @trevorguitar94 If it says that the cable doesn't support your iPod then you need to purchase and install Resupported4. Make sure that you go into Settings and change Resupported to whatever cable type you have (Composite, S-Video, Component).

  • pls help me i have the cable and the programs

i try to change av and it still doesnt work pls help !

  • @sot20thc Like I said, the "TV Out" part is just part of the video title, its not the name of an application. If you have the official Apple cables all you need is "Display-Out"

  • @sot20thc TV-Out is just part of the video title, its not an application. If you have the official RCA cable you don't need either of these programs unless you want to output the display from an application(or the springboard) that is not supported by the official cable, in which case you would need Display-Out

  • @sot20thc No, the only reason for resupported4 is to provide support for 3rd party cables. If you have the official cable there is no need for it

  • @sot20thc Yes it does :)

  • @marcnaidu Same deal for iPad, you will need an HDMI adapter

  • Just to be clear, I am using an iPad1 and not and iPhone

  • Hi Jay, Installed the Display out and it worked well with my original Apple VGA adaptor. But, after I installed Resupported4, it no longer worked.

Does this mean that Resupported4 does not support the original apple adaptor?

    Thanks,

    Marc

  • @marcnaidu If you are using an official cable there is no need to install Resupported4

  • @iphoneblogr Yes I know but I already got the VGA cable and thought that the Resupported4 would support ALL. Now that I installed it, the VGA cable does not work. Is this normal?

  • @iphoneblogr could you please confirm that Resupported4 does not support the VGA cable and worse still, interfere with it working properly?

If so, I will uninstall Resupported4 and I hope my VGA cable will work again.

  • @marcnaidu Resupported4 is for RCA cables, it has nothing to do with VGA cables. If you dont have an RCA cable there is no need for you to have Resupported4 installed so you should uninstall it.

  • Hi, good clear video. Thanks! Question: Could you recommend a "decent" and cheap adaptor for hdmi that I can find on amazon ? Looked on Amazon and there where so many to choose from. Thanks!

  • where do I get the 2 apps mentioned? I am completely new to this and have a standard ipod touch that I need to mirror on the tv for a "karate scoreboard" app on itunes. Can you help?

  • @finchermusic These are both jailbreak applications available through Cydia. You must first jailbreak your device and then you can purchase these apps in Cydia.

  • please help! i installed the resupported for my iphone 3g then after i installed the application it became hang and alwayes reboot when i open my settings it hangs also.. do i need to uninstall it?

  • Hey what version is your phone? I keep having problems on iOS 4.0...

  • @drkdragon01 In this video I was using firmware version 4.1 you can install a prejailbroken 4.1 firmware file from our website just check the tutorials page

  • when i install display out, it stops me before letting me confirm saying that displayout depends on gsm.wildcat???

  • @sasukeuchihayou Please install Display Out from the official ModMyI repo and you won't get this error

  • @iphoneblogr there is no app from modmyi and yes i have the sources installed

  • @sasukeuchihayou modmyi isn't an app it's the repo that you want to download displayout from. Make sure you are getting it from the official repo, if you try to download and install a cracked version it will not work

  • @iphoneblogr i know modmyi isnt an app, like i sed there is no app from modmyi that is displayout. i have to available for download, one that isnt by modmyi and the other is unknown and you have to pay for it

  • Heey did u have that theme b4 i wrote about it in draft or did u get it after

  • @gearstik1 I've been using Glasklart for about 3 months now

  • @iphoneblogr Ohk Same, i love it
