Actually nothing. It was for a class for getting experience with PID control with Labview/C. Part of the reason why it's made purely of cardboard slots is that we had no glue or tape. One can guess as to why the two arms lag a little behind. (friction =))
Nice job anyway - It sounds like you're getting some useful experience (much more than what I got out of a many of my classes at the time) =)
