Such an incredible talent, it still saddens me the way he died, essentially a suicide that took six years.

@saintdlee Jerry was and still is the man behind Alice in Chains wrote most of the songs and had all the great riffs I love Layne and miss him dearly you can't be a true Alice in Chains fan you must be trying too start shit so I will leave it at that.

There were so many rumors about Layne dying before this song came out. In a 1996 interview said he read he had AIDS on the internet, "You'd be well advised / not to plan my funeral 'fore the body dies." = "I'm not dead yet, motherfuckers."
Such an incredible talent, it still saddens me the way he died, essentially a suicide that took six years.

I hate the fact that Jerry kept Alice going with a new singer, especially because in 2002 right after Layne's death he said Things wouldn't be right if he kept Alice going without Layne...... now look. He should eat his words. But on the other hand, "That black fuck" - Layne hated racism. But I agree with the no voice part as well.
