Earlier this year they started playing "Tokyo Road" and "Only Lonely" again when the tour first started along with three or four songs from the first album which they have rarely played but they dropped them quick. I heard reports that Jon can't really sing like that anymore and that the audience does not know the stuff like the true old school fans do.

All along Jon would say he didn't like the 7800 album,it's because he can't sing em anymore! I thought Tokyo  Road sounded good and Only lonely live. He should sing with a deeper throatier 80's vocal on these tunes. This isn't American Idol . you don't have to sound just like the album!

@MrSophoney It isn't because of his voice that Jon & the band don't like to do the 7800 Farenheit album, it is because it was a very painful time for him & the others, so they don't like to go back there. Jon & Richie have said this many times. This is when Jon and Dorothea were broken up. Jon's voice was destroyed back then, when they were giving him steroid shots, to keep him singing, for 4 yrs straight of touring and exhaustion. Now he has a mature voice & won't do those extra high notes.
