@Gauzl But he was out of power. As you saw, he was working on his power generators for his shields. That means he did not have enough power for his base, and that means he couldn't overcharge.

Weird that people with computers much more high end than mine are complaining about performance. This game works great on my $500 machine with a dual-core Athlon X2 7550, EVGA GTX 260, 4GB of RAM, Vista Premium x64, and a 550watt Corsair VX model power supply.

As to the video itself, thank you guys: I thought the power plant obsession was hilarious.

Its because you have a dual-core, it helps a lot more than a good graphic card.

This game is supposed to use all the cores,instead it uses just one to death while the other 2 just sit and do nothing.

Unlike the inferior RTS ,,Tiberium Wars'' that,when neccesary uses all 3 of them and in doing so gives me a smooth gameplay.

Play on small maps with you and 1 other AI. (More then 4 players and it usually lags). And use the 250 unit cap. If that all fails get a better computer

He probably gave his gunships an 'attack move' order so they'd attack the first enemy unit/structure they found and the first thing they came across was the wall, so...

This is why you need to micro, even in a game of SupCom's scale.

depending on the unit cap you can have as many as you like

Spiderbots are pretty useless unless they're used at very short range, or to guard a flank temporarily

You could build 100 or even 500 of the Spiderbots, but then all you reasources would be poured into them. What happens if your opponet comes in with, let's say, 20 bombers and 20 gun ships after hitting you with a nuke after you had only built 2 or 3. You have not army and are screwed.

Same here, Supreme Commander's system requirements are way to hyped up. If you've a got a dual core and at least 1GB of ram, and half decent card. You'll do fine.

Download processor drivers (they enhance multicore support) and make sure you have something better then Windows XP Home, because Home Edition wont use the cores correctly.

Just look up your processor in Google, and check the official site. AMD's all have official dual core drivers that optimize their performance.
