The Holy Spirit is God. He is the Spirit of the Father & the Son Jn 14: 23. A woman does not have a bride, we see the Spirit indwell his bride (The Spirit & the bride) making one last plea to sinners(Revelation 22: 17). The Holy Spirit is so Masculine that he refers to us as daughters (of Jerusalem). He is not genderless. The sooner we understand that the Lamb of God has a wife (Rev 21: 9: 19: 7) and not interprete his wife as a symbol or themselves the sooner this blasphemy would cease.

I have watched your videos then hers after this one. She is not a good teacher because she doesn't have the ability to admit she is possibly wrong in her teaching. @bibleortraditions The Bible is not exactly forthcoming on the subject, seemingly content to speak of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as being God, without explaining how it is so. In fact the lack of a clear scriptural basis for the Trinity was a disquieting problem in the early church.
Which pretty much clinches the issue of the Holy Spirit being God. What is not clear is whether the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of The Father Himself or the third person of the Trinity.
Nice video. I have tried to warn Monica about this because she made many errors. Her first error was not knowing Greek and forgetting the masculine words and pronouns used of the Holy Spirit. I explained to her that you can't use Hebrew grammatical gender to argue actual gender, since many masculine nouns in Hebrew have feminine endings, and vice versa. This is why I strongly advocate ministry education, including learning the languages. She went into error based on her ignorance.
Interesting. I have actually worked with her on one of her projects. But she's going off the deep end with these latest teachings, and I warned her that I will not be defending her if she teaches false teaching. I also warned her that these rebuttal videos would come. If she's going to be a teacher, she has to learn to listen to others. So far, she's not doing well in that area.

I think it is a shame for someone to waste time in discussing such an irrelevant topic such as if the Holy Spirit is a he or a she. In fact, I think it is somewhat worst to spend time trying to prove the Holy Spirit is masculine than for the obvious heretical teachings of one who teaches that the Holy Spirit is or may be a woman. Read Ezekiel chapter 8 where it tells how the Holy Spirit put forth His hand and lifts Ezekiel up by a lock of his hair and, places His other hand underneath him and carries him to show him the iniquities of Israel. This is so crazy. God is expressed as male because of the position of leadership and power that he gave men. IT does not detract the value of women, God is not expressed as a female because she was not given power over the male. She is not less valuable to God, she is given a different and equally valuable position in creation. Jesus was different than leaders of his day in that he respected and valued women, he spoke to the woman at the well who was both a Samaritan, and married many times.

The Word clearly says that God is a SPIRIT and a spirit hath not FLESH nor bones. It is ridiculous to think of HIM as either male or female, even though we know that MAN was created in HIS image. In Heaven we are told that there will be neither male nor female; this is perfected new creation because what was once given for procreation has often become man's downfall here on earth. God is known as the HEAVENLY FATHER and the father of Jesus, Messiah because Mary was His mother.
That is exactly right. Mary was the earthly mohter of Jesus Christ. It was her womb that God used. It was Mary's egg. It was Mary's 13 chromosomes. The Man Jesus was the from the genetic seedline of David and Adam. Thus He is the 2nd Adam. The Holy Spirit did not merely place an embryo. For if we remove the human nature of Christ, we remove His humanity. So the whole concept that the Father and the Holy Spirit had to "come together" to create a child is completely in error.
It's not biologically possible for Jesus to have had 24 chromosomes and the Bible never said He did. The Bible did say that He was fully human. Hence He had all chromosomes.
There was an archeologist named Ronn Wyatt who clamed he found the Ark of the Covenant under the very site where Christ was crucified. The blood Christ shed supposedly ran down into the crack created by the earthquake and sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat. Christ, being the Passover Lamb of God, made atonement for sin.

Ronn Wyatt collected the blood to have it analyzed. Of course it was dead blood, so a chromosome count was impossible. Tests on dead blood will give certain results, so they tested the blood and found it to be human blood. A 2nd test on the blood was done. What astonished the Jewish scientists, the blood was actually alive. And it had only 24 chromosomes - 23 from Mary, and 1 Y chromosome.
God could, but why would He? The Bible never says Jesus had only 24 chromosomes.
I looked at some of Ron Wyatt's stuff and the impression I got was that he was a swindler. Jesus very purposely never left any physical remnants on this earth: He knew that people would worship the artifacts and not God. That's why the Shroud of Turin is garbage. Look at all the fake Biblical remnants that Catholics around the world worship.

Mary was not just a surrogate. If Christ was wholly divine, then why did He need to be born at all? He could have just appeared one day. But He needed to become mortal man so He could live His life without spot or blemish. Thus His atoning blood is efficacious to all who believe and call upon His name.

Hi there my friend, I feel it right to point out that we should be careful not to put women into a box, they are equally valued by God, it is only because the sin of Eve that women were put under the rule of their husbands, they were originally created equal. This does not mean that God does not use women to prophesy, the text from 1 Cor you have used is not literal, Paul was showing whoever made such a statement is ignorant to the facts.

Although, Monica's entire 20+ minute heretical "exposition" could be quickly and effortlessly disproved by the simple fact that The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of YHVH and the Spirit of Yeshua. Seeing that both are masculine, it would logically follow that their spirit is masculine ... Otherwise, she'd have to take the viewpoint that YHVH is feminine, and that of course is the same exact blasphemous statement made by the writer of "The Shack" ... 2 Timothy 4:3-4
It's funny you should mention 1st John 5:7 as if it were Biblical proof of the trinity. However, if you did a careful study of that verse you would find that words used in that passage on the "trinity' did NOT appear in any of the original texts until after the 1400's. We know that the NT was finished BEFORE 200 AD so how did phrases get added to it around 1400 AD?
Check with some Bible Commentaries as well as other Translations of the Bible and you will see what I mean.

I agree, when talk about the Holy Spirit, one should take great care and precaution, do not make assumption or pressumption. Bible clear states all manner of sin can be forgiven except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Yes i believe Jesus is God made man, but understand that the bible speaks of gods and you will have to put them into context of each other, but the absolute, hence the one true God is the Father.

There isn't a single incident in the entire scripture, where Gods descriptive gender, is not male.

Holy Scripture defines God in the masculine, thus we speak of Him in the masculine. Pure and simple. And no one has the authority to change what God's word says about Himself.
What about the Shekhina of the Old Covenant? The Shekhina Glory. If God made us ( male and female ) in His image, wouldn't that fit? Wouldn't there be some sort of "feminine" side of God? I wasn't wary of this gender issue. Thank you for a yet another great, comprehensive video. I have a couple of questions, though. Bridging off from muncastro's comment below me, I know it's a respectful to refer to the Spirit as male, but why (if there is a reason) is His gender important besides for a theological truth? Also, why is there more punishment for the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost than for the Son, for example? Is there a specific reason? Thanks.
But isn't God like how Jesus described the angels in heaven . . no gender and not married? Metaphorically God is male because He is the Groom of the Bride; he has authority over his bride; and he impregnates members of the church with the spirit of Christ. The church is not made up of just women even tho it's described as a she; but she is female because she responds to God and because she is impregnated with the spirit of Christ.
It's not about the creation being "right", but rather staying with the written Word.
The next video I found very disturbing. She claims that if we do not believe the Holy Spirit is "female",? then we are calling God a "homosexual" and that the man, Christ Jesus, would have been the product of gay sex.
Being a male chauvinist or a feminist will not change the text no matter how much we groan. We accept the Bible as written, regardless if our egos are bruised.
Christ didn't come to save my ego. Since the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, is defined in the masculine, we have no authority to change it.
The Holy Spirit is God. He is the Spirit of the Father & the Son Jn 14: 23. A woman does not have a bride, we see the Spirit indwell his bride (The Spirit & the bride) making one last plea to sinners(Revelation 22: 17). The Holy Spirit is so Masculine that he refers to us as daughters (of Jerusalem). He is not genderless. The sooner we understand that the Lamb of God has a wife (Rev 21: 9: 19: 7) and not interprete his wife as a symbol or themselves the sooner this blasphemy would cease.

I have watched your videos then hers after this one. She is not a good teacher because she doesn't have the ability to admit she is possibly wrong in her teaching. You follow scripture exactly as far as I know. I hope that she removes the video or simply admits she is wrong. The scary part to me is that I have read the comments in the video and nearly every comment I saw said that the holy spirit is a woman. @bibleortraditions The Bible is not exactly forthcoming on the subject, seemingly content to speak of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as being God, without explaining how it is so. In fact the lack of a clear scriptural basis for the Trinity was a disquieting problem in the early church.
Which pretty much clinches the issue of the Holy Spirit being God. What is not clear is whether the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of The Father Himself or the third person of the Trinity.

Nice video. I have tried to warn Monica about this because she made many errors. Her first error was not knowing Greek and forgetting the masculine words and pronouns used of the Holy Spirit. I explained to her that you can't use Hebrew grammatical gender to argue actual gender, since many masculine nouns in Hebrew have feminine endings, and vice versa. This is why I strongly advocate ministry education, including learning the languages. She went into error based on her ignorance.

Interesting. I have actually worked with her on one of her projects. But she's going off the deep end with these latest teachings, and I warned her that I will not be defending her if she teaches false teaching. I also warned her that these rebuttal videos would come. If she's going to be a teacher, she has to learn to listen to others. So far, she's not doing well in that area.

Most of what we as Christians "bicker" about are not all that important. We look at the littlest things because we actually enjoy it. I know I do.
It may be that I have read verses before, but I always walk away from a good conversation with a little more insight.
Unfortunately, when we veer too far off course, it is the duty of fellow Christians to point out error. Rightly diving Scripture, and teaching and rebuking when necessary. But it is always done with love.

I think it is a shame for someone to waste time in discussing such an irrelevant topic such as if the Holy Spirit is a he or a she. In fact, I think it is somewhat worst to spend time trying to prove the Holy Spirit is masculine than for the obvious heretical teachings of one who teaches that the Holy Spirit is or may be a woman. But it does compel a reply. Though I would not support any teachings that make the Holy Spirit a female, I don't believe the word He is a determiner of male or female.

What you claim is irrelevant, is relevant to others. We see past the petty argument to a deeper issue. If you watch the related video, it shows why this subject is entirely relevant. What this video intends to show is not whether the gender of the Holy Spirit is male or female, but rather we should not be changing the Bible to go along with our doctrinal beliefs. Actually Ruach HaKodesh (in Hebrew and Aramaic,language spoken by jesus or Yeshua or Yehoshua) is a feminine word. RUACH = BRISE.
Therefore Ruach Hakodesh means Holy Brise,a "blow" from God's Spirit.

This is so crazy. God is expressed as male because of the position of leadership and power that he gave men. IT does not detract the value of women, God is not expressed as a female because she was not given power over the male. She is not less valuable to God, she is given a different and equally valuable position in creation. Jesus was different than leaders of his day in that he respected and valued women, he spoke to the woman at the well who was both a Samaritan, and married many times.

That is exactly right. Mary was the earthly mohter of Jesus Christ. It was her womb that God used. It was Mary's egg. It was Mary's 13 chromosomes. The Man Jesus was the from the genetic seedline of David and Adam. Thus He is the 2nd Adam. The Holy Spirit did not merely place an embryo. For if we remove the human nature of Christ, we remove His humanity. So the whole concept that the Father and the Holy Spirit had to "come together" to create a child is completely in error.

It's not biologically possible for Jesus to have had 24 chromosomes and the Bible never said He did. The Bible did say that He was fully human. Hence He had all chromosomes.

Ronn Wyatt collected the blood to have it analyzed. Of course it was dead blood, so a chromosome count was impossible. Tests on dead blood will give certain results, so they tested the blood and found it to be human blood. A 2nd test on the blood was done. What astonished the Jewish scientists, the blood was actually alive. And it had only 24 chromosomes - 23 from Mary, and 1 Y chromosome.

Everything we need to know about God is written. If the inspired text is in the masculine, do we have the right to change it? If God had sent a Daughter, would we still not rejopice?

She is okay. She had some good teachings. I wouldn't call it blasphemy. Maybe the Holy Spirit has no gender at all. Who can tell ? I think we can not see the Holy Spirit, even when we are in heaven. Because the Holy Spirit equals WISDOM. There is no gender.

I believe what most find rather offensive is that chastising that takes place in the videos. That if we do not believe in her interpretation, we are rejecting Holy Scripture. That is dangerous thinking. I am sure she thinks she is right, but her opinions and interpretations are influenced by her own schooling and life experiences. Lots of condemning and finger pointing in her videos of late, and she calls Calvinists divisive. Very hypocritical in my humble opinion.

Monica is NOT falling from her once well position in Christ through her teaching, but NOW it is revealed to all that she NEVER was born from the Spirit of Truth! Long it was not to be seen, but now the folly has been made manifest to all! Self-claimed women teachers (especially if she claims a gift of prophecy or knowledge) are according to the Scripture FALSE TEACHERS! Hi there my friend, I feel it right to point out that we should be careful not to put women into a box, they are equally valued by God, it is only because the sin of Eve that women were put under the rule of their husbands, they were originally created equal. This does not mean that God does not use women to prophesy, the text from 1 Cor you have used is not literal, Paul was showing whoever made such a statement is ignorant to the facts.
Read 1 Cor 1: 34-38 in context.

Yes my friend that is correct, but just as Jesus is the head of the Church showing humility, selflessness and the want to serve everyone below him, the Man as the head should lead by example serving his family with humility in order to gain their love and trust, not to rule them with an iron fist because God said the man is in charge.

How wonderful to find this vid, I was shocked by the vid you mentioned and unsubscribed from the poster concerned. It did not feel right nor could i find such a teaching from any of the great men/women of God of history. I hope the poster concerned is open for correction and retraction and restoration to preaching truth in Christ's name.

I like your videos but the user comments below are very unsettling. Many of those who comment on your videos do spread a lot of non-trinitarian poison and are given a lot of room to do so.

Nice exposition! Although, Monica's entire 20+ minute heretical "exposition" could be quickly and effortlessly disproved by the simple fact that The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of YHVH and the Spirit of Yeshua. Seeing that both are masculine, it would logically follow that their spirit is masculine ... Otherwise, she'd have to take the viewpoint that YHVH is feminine, and that of course is the same exact blasphemous statement made by the writer of "The Shack" ... 2 Timothy 4:3-4

It's funny you should mention 1st John 5:7 as if it were Biblical proof of the trinity. However, if you did a careful study of that verse you would find that words used in that passage on the "trinity' did NOT appear in any of the original texts until after the 1400's. We know that the NT was finished BEFORE 200 AD so how did phrases get added to it around 1400 AD?
Check with some Bible Commentaries as well as other Translations of the Bible and you will see what I mean.

I agree, when talk about the Holy Spirit, one should take great care and precaution, do not make assumption or pressumption. Bible clear states all manner of sin can be forgiven except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
On the other hand I do not believe in a trinity God, don't get me wrong i believe in the Godhead, which belong to God.
But scriptures says that the Father is the one true God.
The God of the Bible isn't a trinity.
The God of the Bible is God the Father, the Father of our Lord

Yes i believe Jesus is God made man, but understand that the bible speaks of gods and you will have to put them into context of each other, but the absolute, hence the one true God is the Father.
This might seem wild or weird to you but Jesus, the only begotten of God, the Word (God) made flesh, states this in John 17, 1-3.
You'll only find "God the Father" in the Bible you will not find "God the Son" or :God the Holy Spirit"
If you want to know how they are one read John 17:20- and on.

There isn't a single incident in the entire scripture, where Gods descriptive gender, is not male.
It doesn't not exist anywhere, whether in God creating man in HIS own image and likeness for procreative purposes, or as a metaphoric description of HIMSELF (for non-procreative purposes).

I wasn't wary of this gender issue. Thank you for a yet another great, comprehensive video. I have a couple of questions, though. Bridging off from muncastro's comment below me, I know it's a respectful to refer to the Spirit as male, but why (if there is a reason) is His gender important besides for a theological truth? Also, why is there more punishment for the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost than for the Son, for example? Is there a specific reason? Thanks.

Bibleoraltraditions has presented a very orthodox view of the Holy Spirit. An excellent presentation.
What is curious, is that "Wisdom" is in the feminine: Haga Sophia.
G-D is other and transends gender, time, matter, power or systems.
But since he refers to himself mainly in the male; we follow suit.
However 5 times G-D presents himself in the feminine or of knowing feminine specific knowledge.
Orthodoxy never had a problem with the word "it" because G-D is a Trinity of three persons.

But isn't God like how Jesus described the angels in heaven . . no gender and not married? Metaphorically God is male because He is the Groom of the Bride; he has authority over his bride; and he impregnates members of the church with the spirit of Christ. The church is not made up of just women even tho it's described as a she; but she is female because she responds to God and because she is impregnated with the spirit of Christ.

The next video I found very disturbing. She claims that if we do not believe the Holy Spirit is "female",? then we are calling God a "homosexual" and that the man, Christ Jesus, would have been the product of gay sex.
