Mark was a big fan of Willy, and he produced this wonderful album. I was a fan of Willy and Dire Straits both, for me it was a miracle they worked together. I was sad to know that things between them were going bad. They had many quarrels about Mark 's ideas for this album. Maybe Willy thought that Mark was doing HIS album, but IMHO THEY DID A GREAT WORK!!! Willy rest in our hearts forever!!!
I'm not sure if Willy DeVille liked the album Miracle, but I thought that he and Mark Knopfler made some great music together. Storybook Story is definitely a keeper, and the rest of the albums tracks are quite enjoyable as well. Great voice!

This is THE BEST album Willy deVille made, and perhaps THE BEST album I ever bought to my CD-collection.
- The term miracle materialices with a good sound system with some juice... it transforms from music to it's title - "Miracle" !
- I'm almost religious !
