issue with the car thing... I use to live in bad neighborhood and i trust a select group of people... Americans vary on their surroundings when they were growing up. i know since i grew up poor i never asked for much but if my friends cant get the new IPhone they freak out while my phones from 1990 something i also focus on making my life better more so than my "rich" friends do, I have a plan a job and am independent my friends go with the flow beg for money and are dependent on parents =/

I'm American but some of this only describes about half the people I know. I know a lot of people that are closed-minded and not very accepting of all people. It's sad and I have distanced myself from them but I only WISH we were mostly open-minded.

@toymachine2k Well, young man, you have a lot to learn. America has been through far worse than this, and has come out on top each time. I live in Europe, and we all are betting on America. I don't know where you are from, but I recently travelled through America and Canada. No comparison, America was full of life and energy, and Canada wasn't. I hope to return soon!
