My brother who live in Québec just sent me the DVD of "Cruising 1 and 2" and once again I was amased by the genious of French-Canadian cinema.

It's only in the second DVD that I discover that the actor Michel Coté plays the 4 characters himself, he was so dam convincing and realistic. It is a great portray of human behaviours disguised as a comedy. At first it may seem pathetic and trivial

but isn't it what life is all about and then you dig in and find great dept....

What's awesome about this movie is every character has flaws and weaknesses and those are well portrayed throughout the movie. I personnally haven't seen this often in movies, especially in blockbusters.

You are so right ! This is what I love about French-Canadian Cinema it is so true to life

and we can recognise ourselves so much better than in Americain Hollywood blockbuster were everyones is out of reach with the real world.
