For all those people saying using bobbers only catch small fish. I've caught 5 lb bass with them. I have also caught 20+ lb catfish at night with bobbers.

The thing is, you don't really need a bobber to catch bass. Just used plain oh hook and worm. But the thing is most of the time when getting bass, they're usually small, a pound or half only. So just so all you guys know, you can get fish with the bobber but won't be no any 5 pounder, if you happened to get a 1, then your lucky. Most time is just usually 1 or 2.

You are giving bad advice! Many of the guys that are trying to catch a new world record bass are using bobbers! Read the book "Sow Belly" if you want educated. They use big live baits under bobbers not worms.

Yeah I understand if you catching northern or striper or other big fish. There technique involve using bobber.. But large mouth from my experince. You'll only catch smaller bass. Your videos prove that most the time you get smaller bass. If you wanna use a bobber use it, but I'm just saying most time you'll get smaller bass using bobbey. You probably never use a senko or crank bait in the right condition that why your advertising a bobber. Saying I'm giving bad advise.

The really BIG BASS are not as anxious as small and middle size Bass. The Big ones require patience and not beating the water to death by casting a hundred times. All that does is make them go into hiding. And if you catch a medium size one it usually puts all the fish in the area into hiding. It is simple. Use BIG baits so the small one stay away and the BIG ones will have more time and opportunity.

Your advice is ok for little and medium fishes. Think bigger!

You think I dont' know that? Think bigger? The thing is that all the fish caught in this video is basically what your saying small and medium. I think rather then advertising something that already been in the market or overatting something that shouldn't be overated. Should probably keep your advise to yourself and stop influnce those who wanna fish like they should fish.

@Aphablueforce Why can't they use live bait or Bobbers in a Bass Tournament? Because it does not play well on TV. Boat companies sponsor all the Big Fishing tournaments and they want action - not bobber watching. The guys that are right now chasing after the world record Bass would not enter a tournament. They won't even consider fishing a lake with a 100 Bass boats buzzing around and camera crews.

Keeping your bait in the water is the way to catch more fish.

I use them with lures all the time and catch more fish by using them. That includes bass. Especially in rivers where I can use the currrent and only need to cast one time and the lure has non stop action!

I think this bobber would work good for belly-boat fishing even though you are out in the water (basically fishing from shallow to deep). Bad weather bass? It looked like you got on a spring "bank runner" pattern, often some of the best fishing in bad windy, rainy conditions. The smaller males were probably moving in to scout spawning locations making for lots of action. By the way, you sound like that guy on In Fisherman, which was cool.
