Yes actualy it is very true but it wasnt the dutch it were the belgians and yes the french did suply weapons and training although most of the killing was done with machetes....
The movie is not fair. I was one of the hosts in that Hotel at the time. And I am not a tutsi. He didn't save 1200 people because we were about 500 people in that hotel, half of them hutus. And yes France supported he hutus while the US supported the tutsis. The ONU declared an embargo on weapons, but only hutus couldnt buy weapons while the rebels could get weapons from USA trough Uganda. By the way : I am mixed, half tutsi, half hutu. The movie is not fair. I was one of the hosts in that Hotel at the time. And I am not a tutsi. He didn't save 1200 people because we were about 500 people in that hotel, half of them hutus. And yes France supported he hutus while the US supported the tutsis. The ONU declared an embargo on weapons, but only hutus couldnt buy weapons while the rebels could get weapons from USA trough Uganda. By the way : I am mixed, half tutsi, half hutu. But history only tells the story of the winners in all wars

The word "Bantu" and it's other variations mean "people" in several African languages. So "Bantu" was chosen to refer to a group of African people and their languages that are linguistically related to each other. For example, Kiswahili, Lingala, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Zulu ,Luganda, Gikuyu, etc. are all Bantu languages just as Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Romanian are Latin languages.

i was 2 when it happend and my family had to run for lifes our house was burned down a lot of my friends lost family members...my perants told me stories of their time in Rwanda,and how if they went back they would be in gail,i can't even go back there and be considered a Rwanadan because i grew up in Canada and can berely speak Kinyaguada(?) so don't tell me i know nothing about it....one more thing i'm a Hutu and dam hell proud of it,even though sometimes i'm made to look like the enemy.

Such an arsehole. One, the division btn Hutu and Tutsi was greatly contributed to by Western missionaries, the French and the Belgians. The French army trained some of the Interhamwe. The whole world couldn't get it's head out of it's arse over the difference between "Genocide" and "Acts of Genocide", so they didn't do anything.
