I just bought a 2000 Spyder a month ago and I love driving this car. The drawbacks are in rain it drives for shit, you can pop ur entire back out by getting in and out of the car since it is so low to the ground, and when driving with the top up there is a huge blind spot just behind the side windows. I still love this car and will likely pass it to my daughter in a few years when she turns 16.

@tnguyen318 It doesn't get as much positive attention as its contemporaries (e.g., Nissan 300ZX, Toyota Supra, Mazda RX7) in part because of its higher mass, and, its front-wheel-drive chassis (the base 3000GT/Dodge Stealth is front-wheel-drive).

@tnguyen318 I mostly drive highways and take it easy. The MR-2 does not have a lot of storage space, but it is the best combination of fun & reliability. I replaced the Toyota emblem on the stearing wheel with the Yin/Yang Taoism symbol. Good luck with your choice.

this car looks like it had a front end desine team and a rear end desine team that never talked to eachother and they both thought they were working on the same end bet they just said ahh screw it lets try and put it together and see what we get. but i love it regardless
