the halo movie was just reschedualed to 2012 because district 9 is was made (which sucked) so they are going to make a halo ce remake and they are going to make a halo movie but the movie is just going to be a little late

They are making it, its in pre-production. Its based on a script adaption of the novel Fall of Reach, that may be produced by steven speilburg. Fall of Reach will also be a game comin out in 2010, but you probably knew that...
