  • hello bob, thanx for the post. you have a very nice, smooth style. i am actually contemplating the purchase of a gw-4 and your video has been a great help to me because your instrment sounds so "perfect" and frankly, my only reference thus far has been dwight beecham's recording which, in my mind, leaves a lot to be desired regarding the sound of the instrument. please keep posting more performances. best regards,

    joe

  • Hi Joe- well, there is only one way to get the best sound in any location - get a professional voicing! It's worth it for a nice instrument like this.

  • Hi Bob! I've missed you this week.

Love this piece. Just finished a stint in the orchestra pit of G+D over here in Carlisle. Watch out I may take you up on your invitation and come and see that thing in the flesh (and run away with it!).

    Cheers,

    Stuart

  • Thanks for posting this !! You sound like Simon on the Oriental Theatre Kimball. Great chords and registrations. Does your GW4 have custom rank samples ?

  • No. Just a great live room and super voicing in situ by Walt Strony who also owned this one before me! :)

  • As always I like it!

  • Please continue!
