In a way I'm glad Maks told Len off last episode. Len is constantly criticizing Maks and I'm sure Maks is getting tired of it. Laila said it was her idea so I don't know why he's always on Maks' case.

I love his energy when he's waiting for the scores. I think like a lot of us, Maks's energy shifts according to the woman he's dancing with. I really liked the way he came across with Laila and Mel B.

Meh, the judges are tripping. They were trying to add some personality to the dance and great entertainment. The introduction of their dance made the whole dance stand out to where I enjoyed it more than their others, and that takes a lot.

I'm so sick of all these desperate housewives swooning over Maks. Of course he was charming when he was with Laila; she's a woman! If you're a guy and you so much as look at him, he's a total douche. "Why" is beyond me. About the dance: I personally thought her footwork was sloppy, but her performance was great. Just my opinion, though.

gos11387, Good grief, you must be either gay or blind if you think Laila's buffer than Max, though she does have a great body. If you want to see a woman buffer than Maks, try Misty May Treanor. Like a female King Kong, Misty stomped across the dance floor, towered over Maks, was one of the guys, as someone said and had absolutely no chemistry with Maks. She looked awkward even walking down the stairs with him.

This was the first jive I remember seeing. (Season 4 was the first season I saw, and unfortunately I missed a lot of weeks). I loved this dance right away, and now the jive is one of my favorite dances. Plus, I loved Laila. I voted for her often. I was always impressed by her visible confidence. She was one of the few stars on that season who did not seem to be one step behind his/her partner.

Maks is SOOOOOO sweet when he said, "ever minute that we spend is beautiful". I LOVED Maks and Laila then and I still LOVE them now. I loved all the wonderful things Maks has said about Laila. They were a great dancing pair and like Maks said he "found his match" with Laila. Their similar working ethics worked well together and I loved every minute they gave me. It was all beautiful to watch.

@MichaelGandDavettaS When Maks said, "I think I met my match" he was talking about her being a challenge for him, hence his serious expression when he said it. Other than that, yes, they make great partners. The best part is they show the dynamic of two people who have a strong connection without it being a romantic one. Everyone acts like "sexual/romantic" love is the only powerful "connection" there can be between people. Maks and Lalia prove against it.

Len was harsh but still complimentary in the end. He feels Laila doesn't need the theatrics like some other dancers do. Like Maks said in the Waltz clip and like Len says in this one, Laila really can dance. I think that's why the were more open to the theatrics of Apolo and Joey which still wasn't completely fair but I get...a little bit anyway. LOL

Maks is so freaking cute. "Every moment that we spend is beautiful". So sweet. In another clip he said "this has been the best experience of my life" about dancing with Laila. I love them together and think they will be lifelong friends. They have given me my best DWTS viewing of all 4 seasons I have watched.

After his cycle with Mel, he made a comment I think in a publication about the stars and indicating how "some" can be and he said that he does not mean Laila and Mel. He complimented them in the manner of how they live their lives so I know both women are special to him and he had a different and special experince with both. As a Maks fan, I enjoyed both pairings greatly I just liked his pairing with Laila more but we all like what we like.

@pinkamos don't watch anymore after the Mya and Dmytri "debacle". The judges were inconsistent and unfair with their critiquing and some of the "Stars and Professionals" were mean spirited and snarky,it just turned me off in a big way. I come on here to watch some couples this go around sometimes,but dont keep up with the show anymore. I hear that it's even more popular now than ever though, but they lost one of their biggest fans(ME) with season 9 ? if I 'm not mistakened.

I like Laila and love that she is a very muscular woman and showing that that is totally acceptable and beautiful, but I think she should get 3rd place in the competition, just based on dancing technique (with Apolo 1st and Joey 2nd IMO - Joey's had years of dance training, and Ian was on Broadway (prob'ly dancing) (and it's much harder for him to ballroom dance 'cause he's like 13+ yrs. older than those remaining) Go Apolianne :) and Laila for 3rd (just my opinion) :)
