No knowledge of God? You've got to be kidding me! These folks knew God 200 years before Americans ever did! Those majestic Christian Temples are the very witness of these peoples' faith in the God of Life, which replaced the darkness of ancient paganism and its orgy of human sacrifices.
This beautiful arquitecture ancient even yesterday,says & teaches us God is everywhere, if not this gigantic city could not haven been made. Almighty people worked with the power,wisdom,mercy,&justice, so others, later, may have the opportunity to look, the great knowledge of God. Spanish people didn't bring their religion. Mexican people have always had in their hearts, the knowledge. Always !

I have been to Morelia, Mexico 3 times on mission trips with my church, this summer being the last time I went, and I absolutely LOVE this city!! It is gorgeous beyond words!! I have precious friends there as well that I truly cherish! I am going back on December 29th for 8 days...Can't wait!! =)

I am from Morelia and I can say that when you live there, it is not as beautiful as it is shown in the video. It has many attractive places to visit, but I would never spend my whole life there because there are not enough worthy jobs. On the other hand, this is the best video I have ever seen about my city.
Well...it depends on people to create jobs. When I open a business, it'll be in Morelia. It's our job to contribute to our own cities, otherwise the complaining and dissatisfaction will never end.

Nice video of the city. However, I believe you are mistaken if you think Morelians don't know god. They had an entire pagan belief system based on the ancient gods of their pre-hispanic ancestors. Then the Spaniards arrived and forced their Catholic god on the natives, thus the cathedrals in the Spanish Colonial centers of Mexico. They certainly don't need missionaries from Texas in 2007 to force their version of god upon them.
The video is not claiming they do not know God - it is claiming that there are people *in* Morelia who do not know God and may be impacted our service to them. It is the same everywhere. How many see the cathedrals but do not know God because they have not seen his work? The 5th video down on the "related" list shows the result of this work. 300 local people would not have shown up on our last day if this was being forced on them. God is made known by service, whether in Morelia or next door.
