damnit if only Crocket would have handled his money better, real wrestling would have survived and we wouldn't be stuck with this sports entertainment horseshit! Folks forget behind the horsemen and the Warrios the crockets were making money hand over fist at this time....and it was a much better product
Listen to Tony read off those matches! Schivone was one of the most underated commentators ever! I know he didn't aspire to live his sports broadcasting dream around the squared circle, but he never let that keep him from doing his best. He deserves to be in the hall of fame just for tolerating all those nicknames Jimmy Valiant used to give him.
I absolutely LOVED going to the Civic Center/Arena to watch the NWA matches... Ric Flair and the Horsemen were always the wrestlers we loved to hate!! Ronnie Garvin was the MAN in B-More too, along with the Road Warriors!
This is how wrestler's made money before the era of guaranteed contracts.
You cut good promos to boost ticket sales, thus making more money for the company, thus making more money for you. Wrestling died when the NWA died, had an adrenaline shot in the late 90s, then flatlined forever.
Why cant we have awesome promos like this today?? Fucking kids and WWE!! Wrestling died a long time ago... Today all we have is crappy childish bullshit and teenagers boring storylines!!! Spinner belts and hookers slutty pornstars divas wannabee... Fuck todays wreslting!!! Long live the Horsemen!!! Ah... and fuck Cena, Batista, Maria and all those untalented models!!!! Fuck yall!!!
I find it really funny considering who his friends are that Arn was always willing to take a back seat to Ric Flair. I think Arn was about this business more than he was about himself you don't see that anymore. Amen Arn had tons of lines like that and only he could pull them off.
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on 10 videos in the next hour. if you do, tommorrow will be the best day of your life
I need to go to Hecht's and pick up my tickets!!!

I would like to see these old shows in a theatre on a big screen. Flair should be made into a bio documentary similar to Nixon or Macolm X.

Damn right no one cares. I remember the days being IC Champion meant something but now... the title is no more then a accessory.

I liked how they did this. Tully walks in from Tony's left, then Arn comes in from the right, then back from the left comes Flair. Great stuff
