At the end Hyudai is steel a car, at this century, name is not always the best. because it it cutting edge of technology, you can buy parts from anywhere. I reckon Pak and China done a good job on this low cost jetfighter. It can lock head with the Rafale and many other fighter such F-16 and Mig-29 or even Mig 35

PAF has done an excellent job by creating such an advanced aircraft with BVR capabilities and such a small RCS etc. in low cost. on the other hand our IAF has wasted billions of dollers on Weapon truck MKIs even third generation Radar can see this elephent from far. IAF will have to buy Rafeals as soon as possible.

And what makes this deal even better is unlike the Americans who either don't sell or if they sell then they give downgraded versions of weapons like long range stand off missiles or beyond visual range air to air missiles for use with F-16s. The JF-17 is compatible with some serious firepower weapons and China is willing to sell those without downgrades to anyone.

Considering the fact that with a top pilot one F-16 will blow 2 of those JF17s out of the sky and scare the 3rd out of the fight...20 million isnt such a bargain. Here's another heads up for potential customers...if the agressors are the USA, chances are those new fighters will never even get off the ground.

What scares US arms manufacturers is China developing high performance weaponry at a much lower cost. Though the US has an edge because of selling weapons to NATO. China could break into the lucrative industry, if the US economy continues to decline.

Pakistan Air Force also fly F-16 Block 52, Many PAF squadron fly American Machinery.

Also, Pakistan Air Force also have high kill ratio - 1965 War shot down 119 Indian jet while loosing 19 of their own. Similar in 1971 War - shooting down 107 indian jet Pakistan lost 29.

Russian War during the 80s Pakistan shot down 12 Russian Migs, Pakistan never lost single one.

It was American machinery but Pakistani pilots shooting down Russian Machinery
