actually this must be the same as the thawing plate my mom had a long time ago, it was an as seen on tv product. It did the same thing and melted ice real fast without any apparent heat.

ya metal is used for carrying heat the bench is a type of plastic and as we all know it is not a very good heat sink not as good as metal where is the facts don't you have any proper tests im not sorry to say this would not fool a monkey

I also have a quantum pendant like this (but different shape though) at first I don't believe, but I tried when I got home and it really works!! I even put my quantum pendant to ref to be cold and testing again but the result is still the same.. :) two thumbs up!!

thats because the pendant is made of a material that conducts heat better than the counter top. this doesnt mean jack shit.

amazing how it melt really fast then as the pendant cools down it slowly slow the melting process to that of the one on the surface... I would like to see some scientific demonstrations please...

me thinks someone warmed up a pendant (perhaps run under hot water or sat in the sun) then placed ice it... Notice the ice melts quickly at first but once it cools the pendant it melts at the same speed as the other cube.... Nice try!
