It is important to understand the culture at the time the Bible was written so we are not tempted to interpret the Bible in the wrong way. The Biblical authors were living during a time that was very different from ours.The culture was much different. If we do not read the Bible in light of the culture at the time of the writing we can take the content out of context and misinterpret what the authors meant to say.

Any way you cut it, homosexuality is sin. Just as single (hetero) are commanded not to engage in sexual intercourse until he or she is married (1 Cor 6:18-20 & *many* more). Someone born to alcoholic parents/drug addicts may have it in his/her nature to experiment with drugs. That does not mean just because the desire is there, the action is justified. Believers are not to be led by our desires, but by the Word of God. See Matt 5:48 AMP. This is God's Word, if you disagree, take it up with Him.

The Bible does not contradict itself. There is such a thing as the old covenant vs. the new covenant. Rather than taking Scriptures out of context, it would be wise to (1) pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you, and (2) study the Word of God and get to know Him for yourself. The only people who reject God's Word are those who choose to live according to their own sinful nature rather than submitting to the supreme authority of God. This is the most important decision in life.

Any way you cut it, homosexuality is sin. Just as single (hetero) are commanded not to engage in sexual intercourse until he or she is married (1 Cor 6:18-20 & *many* more). Someone born to alcoholic parents/drug addicts may have it in his/her nature to experiment with drugs. That does not mean just because the desire is there, the action is justified. Believers are not to be led by our desires, but by the Word of God. See Matt 5:48 AMP. This is God's Word, if you disagree, take it up with Him.

It's not just about sexual preference. It's about finding that someone you want to spend your life with. The person you wake up to, spend holidays with, raise a family with and grow old with. That love is just as real as a hetero relationship. That's true happiness and a true life.

The Bible does not contradict itself. There is such a thing as the old covenant vs. the new covenant. Rather than taking Scriptures out of context, it would be wise to (1) pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you, and (2) study the Word of God and get to know Him for yourself. The only people who reject God's Word are those who choose to live according to their own sinful nature rather than submitting to the supreme authority of God. This is the most important decision in life.

Reproduction/sexual orientation is not left up to chance or environment especially not in the most complex creatures on the earth. We are born with a preference to one sex or the other. The whole point of the video is to showcase the things in the bible that don't make any sense at all and also how people pick and choose what to follow and crusade for or against. I think if you really believe it is wrong to be gay because the bible says so, then you also have follow the parts that say women are under men, and that it is okay to keep slaves or to keep young girls as sex slaves.

Im a Catholic and im proud to be it i just hate when ppl misinterpret the bible and say how God hates gays and that they go to hell ! John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
