This was one of my favorite movies of all time for me. I watch it all the time. I loved the music and everthing. Chiwetel Ejiotofer was fabulous as Lola. He is a great actor.

everything that is wrong with the uk film industry is on display here. Weak plot ,shamefully tired scripting + casting.............+ a directing style that tries to create a fantasy version of a uk gentility that only exsists in the minds of the writing classes. There is no excuse 4 this lazy smug failure.(watch the crying game..........learn about film)

@manawisha He's a brilliant actor. He did a lot of first hand research talking to drag queens and transvestites/transexuals though. It so weird seeing him in this and then seeing him playing a gun wielding psycho in Children of Men, he's a seriously good actor! :D

A pity the US film trailer gave the entire story away! Great British film! And nice to see the real people have been given parts in the film and it was filmed in a real show factory! Pity more films don't do the same! This is in my top 5 films of all time!
