This play obviously should NOT have been blown dead. if you look at it in slow motion when clay gets there APs legs are still pumping and he doesnt stop until he realizes that hes getting the ball ripped from him and isnt stopped and pushed back until clay already has the ball. srry viking fans just accept that a rookie got the best out of your amazing halfback

after looking closely at the replay it looks like matthews got to peterson before he was going backwards, so you are right that the play probably should not have been blown dead, but you are wrong to say it is obvious because if it was obvious then you wouldn't need to look at the replay in slow motion. i believe that this was not a very athletic play but a very smart play especially by a rookie. i am just glad that the vikings stayed strong after an unlucky play like this and swept the packers!

Last year against Oregon State was unacceptable, this year against Washington, we were playing against 6 coaches who coached at USC, 2 who had last season. We were without our starting QB. Not trying to make excuses, just stating facts. And washington doesn't seem to be that bad of a team this year. They did almost beat LSU. But in terms of the USC defense, as of now, they haven't allowed one passing TD all season. No other school in the nation has done that.

People tend to forget about the 90's. I remember going to many games where the average attendance was around 30,000-35,000. Granted I was still a child, but I think so many USC fans are just happy to see the team doing well again.
