I know its hard to play gt5 and it took me a while to get use to it but once you're good at it you'll never want to play any other racing game for real driving no more. the logitech steering wheel is not only usable for ps3 but for other games too even tho i only use the controller and its already awesome!
GT5 just couldn't live up to the hype. A game that took as long as it did to make should've been a lot better. I played it for a week and got so bored of it and it's crap graphics. One of the most over hyped games of all time.
f1 sucks, I want to drive more cars than formula one cars, id get forza for casual play and gt5 for a bit more serious play...to bad I only have ps3....the bald guy is so anti gt5, its like he tries his best to smudge the game...what a jerk
This is not really a review of GT5. But, I appreciate this video as it has comparison between the two that I have been waiting for someone to say. GT5 is a driving simulator, not a game. FM3 is a game and focuses on gameplay. That is why so many people like FM3 better. The feeling that you're actually driving the car as well as the physics make GT5 the best of the best. That's why it's so difficult to compare the two because they're both aimed at two different audiences in a way. GT5 is the best

I have played all three games extensively, and I think Forza 3 barely edges out GT5. It has everything to offer except for the weather in GT5. Forza has a lot more and better cars(and they keep adding by DLC) than GT5. If I wanted to drive a bunch of low end Toyotas and Nissans I would move to Japan(or California lol). And also what makes Forza even more better, they are coming out with Forza 4 this fall, are we going to wait another five years for GT6??
@shockingrocker 1000 cars there aint a car in forza that aint in GT5 except for licensing issues. Low end Toyotas and Nissans what are you talking about. This game has over 50 LM cars over 18 Super GT cars, F1 cars, official rally cars, over 20 Nascars, over 75 racing cars and concepts. Forza doesnt hold a candle to it.

first, u need to play GT5 2 unlock real damage, once u see GT5 damage, it makes Forza + F1 suck bad. GT5 has 1000+ cars, more than Forza and F1 combined, u can get Supercars like ferraris paganis, and u got karts and rally, as well as F1 too.
GT5 has great weather and graphics superior to forza and F1 and Car selection beats all, u can make the car faster lighter better tires transition drive train cluch and much more GT5 For PS3 beats all
gt5 is better then those 2 games.Im level 38 in gt5 the damage is great well actually the hole game is good.Ive played both games f1 is good and forza 3 is crap i hate it.In gt5 there are pit stops.The best thing in gt5 is the X1 prototype.And im the biggest fan of all the gran turismo's.gt5 is the best game in the world in my opinion.

BTW in the previous review you actually used all the DLC Forza has as a plus point for that game. WTF ARE YOU ON? Even with all the DLC GT5 still has more cars & tracks than Forza 3 so how is having to pay more for DLC that still leaves the game with less content a good thing?
Forza 3 completely sucks compared to GT5 imo. I bought a 360 for Forza and really regret doing so. Yeah it has more impressive looking damage and car customisation but what's important to me are the tracks, car handling, graphics and the online play. In those areas GT5 is phenomenal and I find it laughable that that anyone serious about car racing games thinks Forza is even in the same league as GT.
I've been playing the GT games since the original. GT4 IMO was by far the best. GT5 is real let down. The graphics look barely better than GT4 in some cases. I was expecting to be blown away like going from GT2 to GT3, but GT4 to GT5 I wasnt. Also they force you to use B-spec which is boring & frustrating since the AI driver sucks. The races are limited. No endurance, no full rally mode. WTF! And its so hard to get the car you need to compete. Plus the new physics engine is aggrivating. GT4>GT5
@Ironheart93 B-spec is an option like it was in GT4. AI driver in B spec is much more capable when he gains experience and know his profile, character and what commands fit him. Also it opens driver slots where you can choose other driver profiles and use the driver that best fits a course and racing event.
there ARE endurance events after level 29.
The physics in GT5 is also much more realistic than GT4. If you find it aggravating thats because its more realistic than what you are used to

@Ironheart93 ...they will level up much faster, and their experience bar won't fill up as fast. (When the experience bar fills up, your driver has to retire).
@TheLastJedi2012 I gave up on GT5 and started playing the new Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit instead. OMG that game is so much fun! Aggressive and adaptive AI, awesome sound effects, and fantastic visual candy. Forget GT5 and all that ish. NFSHP makes me completely forget there ever was a GT5. Its that good. NFSHP is definitely the racing game of the year, not GT5

@Ironheart93 Also, I agree that the B-Spec drivers are idiots. Don't think that the problem gets any better when you level them up. I have a level 34 and level 28 driver, and both are still afraid to overtake at times. They also like to roast the tires unnecessarily, which makes them have to pit more often. A little advice for leveling up drivers: the more you level up, the more drivers you can have; keep a couple of these drivers at level 0 until you reach the endurance races...

Endurance is unlocked once you reach level 25, and once you race Nurburgring in the rain from the interior view of the car, you will appreciate the graphics better. I was disappointed with the rally mode, and I understand what you're saying when you say GT5 a let down. I was also expecting the game to blow me away, but hopefully PD will rectify those problems by the time they release GT6.
I haven't played Forza in about 3 years because I got rid of the 360 but I enjoyed playing it. So for me it comes down to GT5 and F1 and here's what I think the difference is. GT5 is about owning cars, thats the point of the game. If thats what you want to do, fine. F1 is more complete because you feel like you're racing for a reason. Winning feels better in F1 I want to win the Championship F1, GT5 just means means I get a new car most of witch in GT5 I wouldnt race anyway. I have both games
@Baddassattuide I couldn't agree more. GT4 was better, and after beating all of the races, I found myself coming back and buying and upgrading cars for fun. GT5 has no 400 Meter track. You can't upgrade rims on certain cars, and you cant even buy some cars till you reach a certain level. The used car dealer is worthless, and a lot of the classic tuner cars are simply unavailable for purchase from the dealers. The dealers have jack squat. I stop playing after three days.
If you want to drive real street cars in a real simulation, GT5 is the game. Period. A.R. has a chip on his shoulder about GT, and thus, his "opinion" is invalid. People with a brain looking for real information will never listen to a staunch supporter or hater (and AR is in the latter).

The xbox wheel sucks, and the fanatec is so expensive and hard to find it might as well not even exist, the GT wheel is 90 bucks on amazon, and actually feels like driving a car.

great game critic views. proud owner of GT and Forza series, about to pick up F1. Honestly, if you a car enthusiast, you'd play these games for yourself and see what you like and dislike. all of which you have to give a good 2-4 weeks of game play for each game and see what suites you. techcometery is essential in both forza and GT if you want the best physics of your car. I think they both do a good job, but GT5 has it more developed in that sense. But forza does do a good job on making it ez.

Having a 300 wheel, a racing seat, and a 50 inch TV just to play GT5, I would consider myself as a serious sim racer but no where near at the professional level. For you knowledge,there is no such game that can be qualified as professional sim at retail stores. so If you can list a game that qualified as a pro sim I would really like to know. My opinion on GT5 is for mature player and Forza is for kids stands hard solid like a brick.

may the reviewers of this video PLEASE STOP reviewing GT5 at least until you get to level 40, you haven't played enough of the game to get an accurate description of what's going on in the game and you have NO idea what your talking about, F1 in case you guys didn't know is an F1 centric game, it's made JUST for F1 you can't recommend it over GT5 because ALL it offers is F1 which is why it's more detailed in that event. GT5 is fun to play, don`t really care about premium or standard cars as long as they drive well. Why worry if the car is "photo realistic" as long as the track is driveable. I need to look at what i`m doing on the track, not looking at my gorgeous car ( it tend to crash into things if i do that)

I never knew that Kazunori designed the Nissan GT-R's interface! No wonder GT5's HUD looks like it does! The horizontal rev counter, the half circle boost gauge, it's all the same! Cool.
Alex has this all wrong. GT5 and Forza 3 have plenty of cars that 99.99% of the players will NEVER drive in real life! The US doesn't have enough people watching F1 to care about simulating a F1 career in a game. Personally, I'd rather be driving road cars, GT cars, LeMans prototypes, WRC cars, and go-karts. GT5 and Forza 3 are both fun in different ways, neither gets it perfect.

yeah, i cant stand F1 cars so F1 2010 isnt even an option. the bald guy kinda doesnt realize that f1 and GT5 are in 2 very different worlds. ones between forza and GT5, to me GT will always be the better game since GT feels more realistic and has a HUGE car selection(i also like how they have so many cars that you wouldnt even think about racing in lol). Forza is VERY close to me however, with better customization, better music, all the cars look amazing not just "premiums"...
these guys dont know shit. forza started it all as far as REAL car racing. the damage alone is bad ass. the game has had far more better customization options than gt. and i mean customizations like suspensions etc. and when your mods are added you feel them on the car as it is driving. i have never been satisfied with gt car setup it felt too arcade and i am a hardcore simulator driver and forza has delivered where gt is just a pretty game nothing more.
Gran Turismo 5 is crap!! I brought a PS3 just for GT5, and it turns out that is no better than forza. I'm not selling my PS3 and gt5 collectors edition on ebay after only owning it for 4 days!

I dislike gt5 heck I disliked gt4, they cram in so many cars no one would drive or even race in real life unless your insane?! seriously a yaris race is about as lame as you can get. but besides my gripes with the interface stupid car selection and being mostly just boring; gt5 has amazing driving pysics.

I've been a Forza fan boy since I first played Forza 2. I bought Forza 3 and played the hell out of it, and I love the game. I went to a friend's house yesterday and played GT5 with him. Four hours later, I was no longer a Forza 3 fan boy. I still do love Forza because of how fun it is as a game, but, GT5 isn't a game, it's more of an "experience". It blows Forza 3 out of the water.
GT5 = BIGGEST DISAPOINTMENT EVER. when compairing the game to forza 3 (which is impossible not to do) it just doesn't meet up, not even close. I bought my x box just so i could play forza 3 in anticipation for gt5.
in forza 3 you will find alot of great cars that somehow didn't make it into gt5
and you can customize all of them! as there are no premium/standard cars.

I-racing and R-factor are probably the most realistic simulators out there.
Forza 3 is an arcade game trying to be a simulator, or/and, an arcade game given an simulator look.
F1 is an F1 simulator
GT5: The best and most/more realistic MAINSTREAM racing simulator (with regards to "set up and telemetry"). But the problem is: GT5 is trying to do too much, it is trying to be everything at once. As a result, sacrifices where made.
I would like to see Mr.Forza creator against Mr.Gran Turismo creater racing each other on the real track, who would possible win eh ?

Well these two guy didn't even reach level 25 cause they obviously didn't try the ENDURANCE COURSES, cause there you can find the strategy part of F1. But Iracing and Rfactor are the best simulator out there but they're are also limited on the graphic side, physics are awesome.
I agree iRacing and rFactor don't have the best graphics in the world. but since when is racing about graphics. In my opinion, Nascar Racing 2003 was my favorite racing sim because of the online community and the rating system. It made you keep comming back for more. In my opinion GT has always been about the graphics before physics.
Ide like to mention.... GT5 has F1 cars "2" and plenty of PD Formula 1 cars... The physics are bang on to F1, especially driving the Ferrari F2010 on suzuka circate in the rain.
Infact a full grid of Formula 1 cars on GT5...transforms GT5 into F1 2010.. not to mention the night transitions..
I have forza and gt5 and it's no contest that gt5 is more realist in terms of the physics. People who say gt5 sucks are just drying their eyes because they can't go onto a turn at 100mph and by some forza physics miracle make it without going off the track. Maybe when they get their first car and try that for real they'll finally realize...
i dont like the F1 cars, i like the realism that it has from the reviews i hear. i have forza 3 (used to anyway) i didnt like how much force it took to spin someone out (not like i do it, its just something that makes racing a lot harder). so with that in mind, would GT5 be the perfect medium if i only have a regular playstation controller to play it with? ive played nascar 08, 09, forza 3, etc. with a controller, ive got that down pat. do i NEED a wheel for GT5?
i baught gt5 the first day. it sucked so bad i sold it. its just not a fun game. load times are crazy even with the full install. what made me stop playing it was when i beat the super cars with my suped up toyota vitz. game is not real at all. no damage? i think this game was over hyped. i hope gt6 is better.
Also, I can't stand that nearly every race is only 3-5 laps until expert, and even then, only 10 laps for a super GT race in expert? Driving uphill in the dark is nearly impossible since the headlights apparently don't work on steep uphill areas.. Another thing is that hey said time and weather could change, but only give you the option of on or off. No real time speed setting or weather percentage option? There are great parts, but the fantastic highs are marred by really frustrating lows.
I have to agree on a lot of issues. People don't think about what makes racing exciting in the first place: The danger. When there is no realistic damage model, a lot of the danger, intensity, and excitement is lost. Then there is the frustration of someone using me as a speed bump, and only getting a dented bumper while i'm stuck in the sand. The AI is also not up to par with modern standards. I've been rear ended and shunted from the rear so many times.... I'm using a G27 btw ($230 used online
forza is awesome for the customization aspect. Sounds are better. You feel the grunt of the engines alot better. But physics and graphics are not at par with gt5. IMO, forza is for fun.. gt5 is for enthusiasts. If they had a baby together, it would the best race simulator/car game ever made.
im sorry to say this.. you effin bald cant you play gt5 good? I know its hard to play gt5 and it took me a while to get use to it but once you're good at it you'll never want to play any other racing game for real driving no more. the logitech steering wheel is not only usable for ps3 but for other games too even tho i only use the controller and its already awesome!

This is not really a review of GT5. But, I appreciate this video as it has comparison between the two that I have been waiting for someone to say. GT5 is a driving simulator, not a game. FM3 is a game and focuses on gameplay. That is why so many people like FM3 better. The feeling that you're actually driving the car as well as the physics make GT5 the best of the best. That's why it's so difficult to compare the two because they're both aimed at two different audiences in a way. GT5 is the best

I have played all three games extensively, and I think Forza 3 barely edges out GT5. It has everything to offer except for the weather in GT5. Forza has a lot more and better cars(and they keep adding by DLC) than GT5. If I wanted to drive a bunch of low end Toyotas and Nissans I would move to Japan(or California lol). And also what makes Forza even more better, they are coming out with Forza 4 this fall, are we going to wait another five years for GT6??

first, u need to play GT5 2 unlock real damage, once u see GT5 damage, it makes Forza + F1 suck bad. GT5 has 1000+ cars, more than Forza and F1 combined, u can get Supercars like ferraris paganis, and u got karts and rally, as well as F1 too.

Forza 3 completely sucks compared to GT5 imo. I bought a 360 for Forza and really regret doing so. Yeah it has more impressive looking damage and car customisation but what's important to me are the tracks, car handling, graphics and the online play. In those areas GT5 is phenomenal and I find it laughable that that anyone serious about car racing games thinks Forza is even in the same league as GT.

I've been playing the GT games since the original. GT4 IMO was by far the best. GT5 is real let down. The graphics look barely better than GT4 in some cases. I was expecting to be blown away like going from GT2 to GT3, but GT4 to GT5 I wasnt. Also they force you to use B-spec which is boring & frustrating since the AI driver sucks. The races are limited. No endurance, no full rally mode. WTF! And its so hard to get the car you need to compete. Plus the new physics engine is aggrivating. GT4>GT5

@Ironheart93 B-spec is an option like it was in GT4. AI driver in B spec is much more capable when he gains experience and know his profile, character and what commands fit him. Also it opens driver slots where you can choose other driver profiles and use the driver that best fits a course and racing event.
there ARE endurance events after level 29.
The physics in GT5 is also much more realistic than GT4. If you find it aggravating thats because its more realistic than what you are used to

Aggressive and adaptive AI, awesome sound effects, and fantastic visual candy. Forget GT5 and all that ish. NFSHP makes me completely forget there ever was a GT5. Its that good. NFSHP is definitely the racing game of the year, not GT5

@Ironheart93 Also, I agree that the B-Spec drivers are idiots. Don't think that the problem gets any better when you level them up. I have a level 34 and level 28 driver, and both are still afraid to overtake at times. They also like to roast the tires unnecessarily, which makes them have to pit more often. A little advice for leveling up drivers: the more you level up, the more drivers you can have; keep a couple of these drivers at level 0 until you reach the endurance races...

Endurance is unlocked once you reach level 25, and once you race Nurburgring in the rain from the interior view of the car, you will appreciate the graphics better. I was disappointed with the rally mode, and I understand what you're saying when you say GT5 a let down. I was also expecting the game to blow me away, but hopefully PD will rectify those problems by the time they release GT6.

I haven't played Forza in about 3 years because I got rid of the 360 but I enjoyed playing it. So for me it comes down to GT5 and F1 and here's what I think the difference is. GT5 is about owning cars, thats the point of the game. If thats what you want to do, fine. F1 is more complete because you feel like you're racing for a reason. Winning feels better in F1 I want to win the Championship F1, GT5 just means means I get a new car most of witch in GT5 I wouldnt race anyway. I have both games

@Baddassattuide I couldn't agree more. GT4 was better, and after beating all of the races, I found myself coming back and buying and upgrading cars for fun. GT5 has no 400 Meter track. You can't upgrade rims on certain cars, and you cant even buy some cars till you reach a certain level. The used car dealer is worthless, and a lot of the classic tuner cars are simply unavailable for purchase from the dealers. The dealers have jack squat. I stop playing after three days.

great game critic views. proud owner of GT and Forza series, about to pick up F1. Honestly, if you a car enthusiast, you'd play these games for yourself and see what you like and dislike. all of which you have to give a good 2-4 weeks of game play for each game and see what suites you. techcometery is essential in both forza and GT if you want the best physics of your car. I think they both do a good job, but GT5 has it more developed in that sense. But forza does do a good job on making it ez.

I can't believe he just told people not to buy the best console sim available today. The worst review ever. If you want to spend time wishing you were racing instead of watching some cut-scene crap, get F1, otherwise join the rest of us racing to our hearts content with the best driving game you can get on PS3. Don't listen to the haters whining about every little thing, just get the game and start racing your butt off.

GT5 is for mature drivers who want to perfect their driving skills; FM3 is for immature drivers (kids) who like to get in crashes and come out on top. FM3 is child's play with a 99 dollar wheel; GT5 is for serious drivers with a 300 dollar wheel.

Console + game + 300d-wheel is noob-setup for real simmers ...try 2000dollar pc , 100dollar stand+seat , 300dollar wheel + 200dollar upgrades , buttkicker etcetc ..and then still you're playing a beginner's simracing-setup ...and don't forget a true simulator is expensive, takes time in updating and training your skills etcetcz

@Drummin003 euhm well , i'm in simracing for years aswell as an active HistorxModmember/DDev modder , so yes i do stick with the fact that people who are taking simracing serious as a trainer-possibillity , that they'll need to spend money.
And believe me there are way more people spending loads more then that .
Only thing i'm saying, like on many forums, if you want a 'serious' simracer , you'll need serious hardware , only a g25 and a game won't trick it .

@Drummin003 Not saying you'll have to do so for experiencing a sim..but many here are trying to tell they take simracing serious because they just buy rFactor or subscribed to iRacing..well that's not really taking simracing serious as being a training-tool is it?! You might better go out for a real karting-session .
As far as home-simracing goes , there is a load of difference between a desktop-setup or a cockpit-setup ...it's just a fact the better setup beats asimple out of the box one!

Having a 300 wheel, a racing seat, and a 50 inch TV just to play GT5, I would consider myself as a serious sim racer but no where near at the professional level. For you knowledge,there is no such game that can be qualified as professional sim at retail stores. so If you can list a game that qualified as a pro sim I would really like to know. My opinion on GT5 is for mature player and Forza is for kids stands hard solid like a brick.

may the reviewers of this video PLEASE STOP reviewing GT5 at least until you get to level 40, you haven't played enough of the game to get an accurate description of what's going on in the game and you have NO idea what your talking about, F1 in case you guys didn't know is an F1 centric game, it's made JUST for F1 you can't recommend it over GT5 because ALL it offers is F1 which is why it's more detailed in that event. GT5 as well as all GTs have been about racing spanning MANY different events

i have played NFS shift and forza 3:
shift has better lighting which gives the illusion that it has better graphics however the details in the cars on forza are far superior.
forza is more realistic and car focused and shift is more focused on the driving experience.

not played any Forza game, so i can`t comment on it.
i have GT5, F1 2010, Grid and Need for speed: Shift.
GT5 is fun to play, don`t really care about premium or standard cars as long as they drive well. Why worry if the car is "photo realistic" as long as the track is driveable. I need to look at what i`m doing on the track, not looking at my gorgeous car ( it tend to crash into things if i do that)
F1 2010 is a wonderful F1 sim, that is immersive in the overall feel of the F1, world thats it

Alex has this all wrong. GT5 and Forza 3 have plenty of cars that 99.99% of the players will NEVER drive in real life! The US doesn't have enough people watching F1 to care about simulating a F1 career in a game. Personally, I'd rather be driving road cars, GT cars, LeMans prototypes, WRC cars, and go-karts. GT5 and Forza 3 are both fun in different ways, neither gets it perfect.

yeah, i cant stand F1 cars so F1 2010 isnt even an option. the bald guy kinda doesnt realize that f1 and GT5 are in 2 very different worlds. ones between forza and GT5, to me GT will always be the better game since GT feels more realistic and has a HUGE car selection(i also like how they have so many cars that you wouldnt even think about racing in lol). Forza is VERY close to me however, with better customization, better music, all the cars look amazing not just "premiums"...

these guys dont know shit. forza started it all as far as REAL car racing. the damage alone is bad ass. the game has had far more better customization options than gt. and i mean customizations like suspensions etc. and when your mods are added you feel them on the car as it is driving. i have never been satisfied with gt car setup it felt too arcade and i am a hardcore simulator driver and forza has delivered where gt is just a pretty game nothing more.

I've been a Forza fan boy since I first played Forza 2. I bought Forza 3 and played the hell out of it, and I love the game. I went to a friend's house yesterday and played GT5 with him. Four hours later, I was no longer a Forza 3 fan boy. I still do love Forza because of how fun it is as a game, but, GT5 isn't a game, it's more of an "experience". It blows Forza 3 out of the water.

GT1-GT4 were amazing in there time.
GT5 = BIGGEST DISAPOINTMENT EVER. when compairing the game to forza 3 (which is impossible not to do) it just doesn't meet up, not even close. I bought my x box just so i could play forza 3 in anticipation for gt5.
in forza 3 you will find alot of great cars that somehow didn't make it into gt5
and you can customize all of them! as there are no premium/standard cars.
GT5 online content is a joke. for how long it took. GT5 is a joke.

Alright then. My point of view:
I-racing and R-factor are probably the most realistic simulators out there.
Forza 3 is an arcade game trying to be a simulator, or/and, an arcade game given an simulator look.
F1 is an F1 simulator
GT5: The best and most/more realistic MAINSTREAM racing simulator (with regards to "set up and telemetry"). But the problem is: GT5 is trying to do too much, it is trying to be everything at once. As a result, sacrifices where made.

Well these two guy didn't even reach level 25 cause they obviously didn't try the ENDURANCE COURSES, cause there you can find the strategy part of F1. But Iracing and Rfactor are the best simulator out there but they're are also limited on the graphic side, physics are awesome.

In my opinion, Nascar Racing 2003 was my favorite racing sim because of the online community and the rating system. It made you keep comming back for more. In my opinion GT has always been about the graphics before physics.

Ide like to mention.... GT5 has F1 cars "2" and plenty of PD Formula 1 cars... The physics are bang on to F1, especially driving the Ferrari F2010 on suzuka circate in the rain.
Infact a full grid of Formula 1 cars on GT5...transforms GT5 into F1 2010.. not to mention the night transitions..

People who say gt5 sucks are just drying their eyes because they can't go onto a turn at 100mph and by some forza physics miracle make it without going off the track. Maybe when they get their first car and try that for real they'll finally realize...

i dont like the F1 cars, i like the realism that it has from the reviews i hear. i have forza 3 (used to anyway) i didnt like how much force it took to spin someone out (not like i do it, its just something that makes racing a lot harder). so with that in mind, would GT5 be the perfect medium if i only have a regular playstation controller to play it with? ive played nascar 08, 09, forza 3, etc. with a controller, ive got that down pat. do i NEED a wheel for GT5?

i baught gt5 the first day. it sucked so bad i sold it. its just not a fun game. load times are crazy even with the full install. what made me stop playing it was when i beat the super cars with my suped up toyota vitz. game is not real at all. no damage? i think this game was over hyped. i hope gt6 is better.

Also, I can't stand that nearly every race is only 3-5 laps until expert, and even then, only 10 laps for a super GT race in expert? Driving uphill in the dark is nearly impossible since the headlights apparently don't work on steep uphill areas.. Another thing is that hey said time and weather could change, but only give you the option of on or off. No real time speed setting or weather percentage option? There are great parts, but the fantastic highs are marred by really frustrating lows.

I have to agree on a lot of issues. People don't think about what makes racing exciting in the first place: The danger. When there is no realistic damage model, a lot of the danger, intensity, and excitement is lost. Then there is the frustration of someone using me as a speed bump, and only getting a dented bumper while i'm stuck in the sand. The AI is also not up to par with modern standards. I've been rear ended and shunted from the rear so many times.... I'm using a G27 btw ($230 used online

forza is awesome for the customization aspect. Sounds are better. You feel the grunt of the engines alot better. But physics and graphics are not at par with gt5. IMO, forza is for fun.. gt5 is for enthusiasts. If they had a baby together, it would the best race simulator/car game ever made.
