mittens4boxing no offense but the last M3 had a tweeked inline-6 not V6. BMW is known for its smooth strong and sonerous sounding inline-6's. And I agree the Chevy V6 as good as it is needs to maked more top-end power in the 320-340 horse range for sure.

I looked at a GT convertible loaded at the dealer in 2006 and it was only 26k after discounts.

I don't have a problem with the Camaro anyways I actually like it better than the Mustang but if GM wants to beat the Mustang they need to learn to price competitively. Look at the Challenger lots of people like it but the price (same as Camaro) is keeping it from being a threat to the Mustang.

A base mustang makes maybe 250 HP.

A GT maybe makes 300hp.

An LS engined Camaro will make 400+ HP.

A V6 Camaro will eat a GT. In price and HP and speed.

Nope because the Mustang is also much lighter and actually has 315hp and a better torque curve.

The GT Mustang barely trails the V8 Camaro in 0-60 and the Qurater mile and actually believe it or not out does it in handling even with a solid axle.

The Camaro can have all the HP it wants its speed that matters to me. Ford opted not to go with independant suspension for that reason it didn't add enough handling for the cost and wieght. plus the 4.6 is relaxed it has loads of potential.

So Fords GT V8 makes 315 and a Camaro base V6 makes 300 HP. It will take a Mustang GT500 to keep up with a stock Camaro SS.

The GT500 is nearly twice the price of a stock SS.

Dumb ass if you would learn to read its in every magazine the v6 Camaro doesn't even come close to the Mustang GT and the v8 Camaro bearly beats the GT Mustang. The thing is the GT500 is 42k and so is the SS camaro go check chevy's web site.

You maybe talking about the Shelby KR GT500 was twice the price of a stock SS but a regular GT500 is kinda cheap and still has 540hp.
