I see what you are doing on the first "phrase" of the intro... but not the second... can you tell us strings you are playing for the second phrase of the intro? thanks
@kmax1940 Sure,, hold down the first fret on strings 1 and 2, then first fret on 1st string and 3rd fret on 2nd, then3rd fret on 1st and 5th fret on 2nd, then back down using same pattern. Hope that helps, ... I don't explain that well. Sorry!
just saw this sorry - got the intro - cant play to speed but it is good i am working on the part where u go from G to C the first time. i am thinking u do - full G down on first beat, then focus on 4thopen hammer on 2nd, then walk 4th open, 2nd fret 5th, open 5th, and go to C chord. - hard to explain.
i am working on transitioning from pure strumming to what you are doing with the walks/transitions between chords.
@cmd41par You're very close... since you're just learning to do this at speed, try doing this.. Think of the first words to the song. ("Hey, hey where did we go...") Try using and UP beat (G Chord) on the first "Hey" --- DOWN beat (G) on the second "hey". The transition to the C chord starts on the next two words "where did". To do a simple transition, strum all six strings OPEN for the next two words ("where did:) (see nxt)

@cmd41par To do a simple transition, strum all six strings OPEN for the next two words ("where did:) using an UP beat on the word "where" and a DOWN beat on "did", but don't change your rythum..... keep using an UP/DOWN strumming. The word "we" is your UP beat. Strum all of the strings OPEN except for 5th string, where you should use your middle finger on the 2nd fret. You're doing this so you can get your fingers in position to play the C chord for the word "go".
@cmd41par You're doing this so you can get your fingers in position to play the C chord for the word "go". It is hard to explain. I probably never actually play it the same twice, but this will help you learn to start playing transitions and get away from the simple boring strumming. Enjoy!
@cmd41par This was hard to answer. Too many words to fit in a single paragraph, so I broke it up into 3. The answer begins with the paragraph that starts out... "You're very close..." Then read the up. Sorry my friend. I play better than I explained it!
@TheExec3 checkout my channel i uploaded my version - not pretty but it is where i am - i played a 2 chord progression thru with no hammer-ons and then did what i think u r doing (sort of) - thx

@cmd41par I'll put this on several paragraphs:
