I use to not understand the attraction to dub-step until I cranked up Skrillex one afternoon. It's one of the more rythmic dubstep songs I've heard, but none-the-less, the conclusion I came to was that dubstep is more about the physical feel (bass resonance) than the melody or flow. Listening to dubstep at volume is more akin to a physical sensation like having massage or riding a roller coaster.
