@betiti100 Actually, she says "...the life of A loved one" and Inu no Taisho loved Inuyasha too, a hanyo. It's just my opinion but I prefer the father/protector/big brother relationship, much more interesting than the classic couple (for me). It also makes Sesshomaru cooler than if he simply fell in love with Rin (again, for me). I guess we'll never know for sure since the anime never confirmed it.

Rin x Sesshoumaru is possible when Rin is actually mature like 16-18. I can just see Sesshoumaru having a hanyou child and ending up just like his dad. According to the last ep, Sesshoumaru left her in the village until she matures, then she can decide if she still wants to follow him. Not to mention Sesshoumaru is constantly leaving Rin gifts... I can just imagine Sesshoumaru shopping for kiminos on a weekly basis. The last ep takes place 3 yrs later and he is still visiting. So who knows!
Hardly. All he did was protect her. Not like he dropped her off at school every day and made her breakfast every morning and tucked her in at night. Sesshoumaru even makes her get her own food as seen in "Jaken's plan to get the tetseiga".
Kay guys think about it from other people's point of view: Rin will one day grow up. Inuyasha is what? Really old. Wayyyy older than Kagome. One day rin will be the same age as kagome. I think the best way to look at the relationship between Sesshomaru and Rin is maybe that it's in some ways similiar as to how 'imprinting' is done in the Twilight Sagas. For anyone interested: Go to the Twilight Wikia page and type in: "imprinting" and you will see what I am talking about. Their relationship if far greater than a Father/Daughter one.

Rin clearly doesn't see Sesshomaru as a father figure, her guardian/protector maybe, but certainly not a father.
the only explanation for this is that sesshoumaru doesn't treat rin as his daughter but a woman. so that he gives rin a chance to live with humans or choose to be with him in the future. most importantly, in japan, when a man gives kimono to a woman, it means a proposal of marriage. (a father can also gives kimono to his daughter, but as i explained before, sesshoumaru is not rin's father)

well...actually the ending of this anime shows some clues about sesshoumaru and rin's relationship. they are certainly not a father daughter relationship! why would a father leave his daughter in a village, and let her choose when the times come? would a father hope his daughter chooses him in the future? that's crazy.

@DoodleBear187 i've never seen a daughter treat their father the way rin treats sesshomaru which is the only reason i've never agreed with the father-daughter relationship. She sees him as a guardian and protector for sure but not a father. And sesshomaru is still maturing emotionally so he's not going to label her as a daughter, just someone he needs to protect. However that doesn't automatically just make it a romantic relationship either. They have a bond is all we can really say.

Sesshomaru's mom says he takes after his father in a strange way. Sesshomaru's father didn't adopt a human child, he fell in love with a human girl. Also, in the third movie, Takimaru says Rin and Kagome are like Inuyasha's mom for their love of youkai. Izayoi didn't see Sesshomaru's dad as a father figure, she fell in love with him.

well...actually the ending of this anime shows some clues about sesshoumaru and rin's relationship. they are certainly not a father daughter relationship! why would a father leave his daughter in a village, and let her choose when the times come? would a father hope his daughter chooses him in the future? that's crazy.

1:18 to 1:45 In my opinion the music ruined this moment! Instead of using a creepy ost they should have used something sad or sweeter. I was really disappointed.
The manga is way better and the video mangas that were done in youtube were also better.
Everything else is ok, but too quick just like the other episodes.

@DoodleBear187 i've never seen a daughter treat their father the way rin treats sesshomaru which is the only reason i've never agreed with the father-daughter relationship. She sees him as a guardian and protector for sure but not a father. And sesshomaru is still maturing emotionally so he's not going to label her as a daughter, just someone he needs to protect. However that doesn't automatically just make it a romantic relationship either. They have a bond is all we can really say.

@witchking142 No manga is the original thing, is THE CANON thing, because it was ilustrated and its original story was cretaed by Rumiko Takahasi, when the manga is so popular it became anime, but the bad thing of anime, its that sometime sthey put filler eps that didnt happen in the manga (that rumiko didnt invented) so it actually a lie, sarah didnt exist in the original story of inuyasha :O
